Questo articolo ricostruisce gli anni della militanza del pedagogista italiano Aldo Capitini nell’ADESSPI (Associazione per la Difesa e per lo sviluppo della Scuola Pubblica). Dall’esame di diverse fonti, quali opere dell’autore (carteggi, dispense dei corsi universitari, volumi, articoli), pubblicazioni ministeriali, letteratura critica, ma anche pubblicazioni dell’associazione e degli altri soci dell’ADESSPI, è emerso il ruolo di primo piano che Capitini svolse all’interno del movimento di riforma della scuola italiana degli anni Sessanta, impegnandosi in prima persona nella progettazione e nella stesura delle sue linee programmatiche. Estudio de las oligarquías y del gobierno municipal de tres villas costeras asturianas –Llanes, Villaviciosa y Luarca– durante la etapa final del Antiguo Régimen, tanto desde la óptica de la historia institucional como la historia social del poder. Se analiza tanto el origen de sus oligarquías –vinculado a la compra de cargos municipales y de extracción básicamente nobiliaria– como las analogías y las diferencias en las formas de gobierno de los tres concejos de los que las villas citadas eran su capital. Acoustic wave guides as infinite-dimensional dynamical systems

We prove the unique solvability, passivity/conservativity and some regularity results of two mathematical models for acoustic wave propagation in curved, variable diameter tubular structures of finite length. The first of the models is the generalised Webster's model that includes dissipation and curvature of the 1D waveguide. The second model is the scattering passive, boundary controlled wave equation on 3D waveguides. The two models are treated in an unified fashion so that the results on the wave equation reduce to the corresponding results of approximating Webster's model at the limit of vanishing waveguide intersection.
Conceptions of healthcare professionals about rehabilitees’ participation in goal setting in an acute hospital : a phenomenographic study

Purpose: In acute care, effective goal-setting is an essential phase of a successful rehabilitation process. However, professionals’ knowledge and skills in rehabilitee-centered practice may not always match the ways of implementing goal-setting. This study aimed to describe the variation in how acute hospital professionals perceive and comprehend rehabilitee participation in rehabilitation goal-setting. Methods: Data were collected by interviewing 27 multidisciplinary rehabilitation team members in small groups shortly after rehabilitation goal-setting sessions. Psiholoģisko pamatvajadzību saistība ar politisko un pilsonisko rīcību un uzticešanos

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas saistības pastāv starp psiholoģiskajām pamatvajadzībām (autonomiju, kompetenci attiecībām), politisko un pilsonisko piedalīšanos un uzticēšanos. Tā ietvaros tika aptaujāti Latvijas iedzīvotaji (n=88), kuri sniedza atbildes uz psiholoģisko pamatvajadzību aptauju, pilsoniskās iesaistes aptauju, Eiropas sociālās aptaujas pilsoniskās piedalīšanās skalu un tās jautājumiem par politisko un starppersonu uzticēšanos. Imagery and Religious Conversion. The Symbolic Function of Jonah 1:13

Jonah 1:13 has a delaying function in the narrative, introducing a pause between Jonah’s demand to be thrown in the sea (1:12) and the event’s occurrence (1:15). Most commentators discuss only the events of 1:13 and their causes. In this article, I suggest an interpretation of Jonah 1:13 based on the imagery of the narrative. An analysis of the use of metaphors and symbols does not replace the message of the verse; such an analysis simply augments it with motives of the seamen’s conversion. Beside the narrative level, there is a hidden level suggesting a deeper understanding of the story where symbols and metaphors have a consolidating function. Pieaugošā sociālā vajadzība noteikt darbinieku labklājību par prioritāti prasa pragmatisku veidu, kā panākt labāku demokrātiju darba vietā mūsdienu kapitāla uzkrāšanas laikmeta robežās. Pētījuma mērķis ir izstrādāt priekšlikumus demokrātijas uzlabošanai darba vietā, izmantojot teledarba politiku. Rezultāts ir priekšlikumu kopums, kuru mērķis ir uzlabot demokrātiju darba vietā, izmantojot atbilstošu tāldarba politiku, vienlaikus uzlabojot darbinieku labklājību. Procesā netika atrasta statistiski nozīmīga saikne starp subjektīvo autonomiju, atbildību un sniegumu. Tālāk autore izstrādāja provizorisku teorētisku ietvaru, kurā darba demokrātija ir apvienota ar tāldarbu.
Gripas vīrusa hemaglutinīna fragmenta strukturāla izpēte un eksponēšana uz vīrusiem līdzīgo daļiņu virsmas

Iekļaujot vakcīnā konservatīvus vīrusa proteīnu domēnus, būtu iespējams nodrošināt plaša spektra aizsardzību pret dažādiem gripas vīrusu apakštipiem. Viens no šādiem konservatīviem rajoniem ir hemaglutinīna (HA) stalka peptīds HA2.3. Bakalaura darba mērķis bija noteikt HA2.3 struktūru, tā eksponēšanas iespējas uz dažādu vīrusiem līdzīgo daļiņu (VLP) virsmas, un pētīt šo daļiņu imunoloģiskās īpašības. Pētījumā tika veikta HA2.3 ekspresija, attīrīšana, kristalizācija. Izmantojot rentgenstaru difrakciju, tika noteikts, ka HA2.3 struktūra vides pH 5,5 atbilst natīvajai HA stalka trimēra post fusion konformācijai. HA2.3 tika ķīmiski konjugēts pie dažādu VLP virsmas, kuras pēc tam izmantoja peļu …
