Color Correction for Image Stitching by Monotone Cubic Spline Interpolation

This paper proposes a novel color correction scheme for image stitching where the color map transfer is modelled by a monotone Hermite cubic spline and smoothly propagated into the target image. A three-segments monotone cubic spline minimizing color distribution statistics and gradient differences with respect to both the source and target images is used. While the spline model can handle non-linear color maps, the minimization over the gradient differences limits strong alterations on the image structure. The market for cryptocurrencies is interspersed with cases of loss, theft and fraud and a new transnational practice in bankruptcy law is emerging whereby cryptocurrency exchanges compensate the injured users on a collective basis. Il contributo mette a confronto tre autori plurilingui siciliani, Andrea Camilleri, Silvana Grasso e Goliarda Sapienza, per evidenziarne, a partire da brevi esempi, le modalità del contatto linguistico grazie a diverse categorie d’analisi: interferenza, prestiti (adattati o no), calchi, commutazione di codice, enunciazione mistilingue. Apparently it is a book about a pop icon, conceived on the long wave of the revival inaugurated by Steven Spielberg's film, but in reality it is a text of unsurpassed theoretical and methodological lucidity, worthy of appearing among the masterpieces of contemporary visual culture.

The churels are figures of the folk imagery of a vast area of South Asia. They, commonly identified with witches, are spirits of women who died during pregnancy or childbirth, and who return to the world of the living, possessing them. The aim of this study is to provide an interpretative analysis of the representations of the churels and of the ambiguous climate that has been created around these figures in recent decades in India.
