In recent years, hierarchical nanostructures have found applications in fields like diagnostics, medicine, nano-optics, and nanoelectronics, especially in challenging applications like the creation of metasurfaces with unique optical properties. One of the promising materials to fabricate such nanostructures has been DNA due to its robust self-assembly properties and plethora of different functionalization schemes. El presente trabajo analiza la naturaleza del paisaje sonoro que Federico García Lorca compone en sus juveniles pinceladas de viaje escritas en prosa: Impresiones y paisajes, de 1918. Para explicar la peculiar cosmovisión del andaluz se apela a diferentes concepciones sobre la relación que existe entre lenguaje, mundo y música forjadas por pensadores del mundo antiguo y contemporáneo (Pitágoras, Baudelaire, Wittgenstein). A general min-max principle established by Ghoussoub is extended to the case of functionals which are the sum of a locally Lipschitz continuous term and of a convex, proper, lower semicontinuous function. Some topological properties of the min-max-generated critical points in such a framework are then pointed out.

International audience; A combined X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), and density functional theory (DFT) study has been performed to characterize the adsorbate interaction of lutetium biphthalocyanine (LuPc2) molecules on the Si(100)-2 × 1 surface. Large molecule–substrate adsorption energies are computed and are found to compete with the molecule–molecule interactions of the double decker molecules. A particularly good matching between STM images and computed ones confirms the deformation of the molecule upon the absorption process. Esta Tesis Doctoral pretende visibilizar la existencia del ofici de violer en la ciudad de Valencia, durante el siglo XVI. La tesis consta de tres partes bien diferenciadas, estructurada cada una de ellas en dos capítulos. La primera parte se enfoca hacia el contexto, tanto social como musical de la ciudad de Valencia.
