Abstract We prove a version of the Inverse Function Theorem for continuous weakly differentiable mappings. Namely, a nonconstant W 1 , n mapping is a local homeomorphism if it has integrable inner distortion function and satisfies a certain differential inclusion. Interventions for Family Members and Carers of Patients with Borderline Personality Disorder: A Systematic Review.

Carers of patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD) experience high levels of distress. Several studies have been carried out on interventions designed to decrease their burden. However, the evidence from these studies has not been summarized. The objective of this work is to explore the clinical utility of interventions developed for family members of patients with BPD. Do social enterprises walk the talk? Assessing microfinance performances with mission statements

We study mission drift in social enterprises by examining whether these organizations stick to the actual mission enshrined in their mission statements. We use data from microfinance organizations (MFOs), a homogeneous group of social enterprises which have been scrutinized—and sometimes criticized—for mission drift. We focus on three publicly recognized and non-mutually-exclusive microfinance social missions identified by previous studies: poverty alleviation, women's empowerment, and rural financial inclusion. A composite indicator of social inclusion for European countries

Social inclusion is one of seven key challenges of the European Union Sustainable Development Strategy. We use a set of sub-indicators to measure social inclusion for 26 member countries of the European Union. In particular, we aggregate four basic indicators in a multiplicative composite indicator via a DEA-BoD approach with weights determined endogenously by imposing proportion constraints. We obtain a score of social inclusion that allows us to grade 26 European countries in 2008, 2009 and 2010 during the European phase of the financial and economic crisis.

Tears evoke the intention to offer social support: A systematic investigation of the interpersonal effects of emotional crying across 41 countries

Tearful crying is a ubiquitous and likely uniquely human phenomenon. Scholars have argued that emotional tears serve an attachment function: Tears are thought to act as a social glue by evoking social support intentions. Initial experimental studies supported this proposition across several methodologies, but these were conducted almost exclusively on participants from North America and Europe, resulting in limited generalizability. The ‘Why, What and How’ of Inclusion from the Practitioner's Point of View: Inclusion of Immigrant Children in the Norwegian Educational System

The aim of the article is to explore teachers' perceptions of the concept of multicultural inclusion. The study adopts a qualitative approach where 14 individual semi-structured interviews have been used to assess and analyse teachers' reflections when considering the ‘why, what and how’ questions surrounding inclusion. The overall findings indicate that teachers view multicultural inclusion as a desirable and positive process which should be practised in contemporary schools. However, the findings also indicate that teachers use rather common and imprecise terms and generally hold that this process is straightforward and unproblematic in terms of its definition.
