Données expérimentales et modélisation d’adsorption des systèmes N2(g)/montmorillonite potassique de Camp-Berteau et N2(g)/hydrotalcite carbonatée

Resume In this paper capacities of adsorption of nitrogen onto two clays at 77 K are compared and analyzed. One system is a montmorillonite of Camp-Berteau saturated by potassium cation and the second one is an hydrotalcite saturated by carbonate anion. Adsorbed amounts have been obtained using a volumetric technique. So it is shown that the smectite adsorbed more than the hydrotalcite at the same relative pressure of nitrogen. The modelling of experimental data by various theories of adsorption as de Brunauer, Emmett et Teller (BET) and t-method are used to calculate the specific surface and to have access to the porosity of these materials at 77 K. Differentiation of isomeric cyclic diamides by electron impact mass spectra

The behaviour under electron impact of two series of isomeric cyclopentane- and cyclohexane-1, 2- and -1, 3-dicarboxylic acid dipiperidides was studied. Diagnostic fragmentation pathways were found to differentiate the isomeric diamides. Additional evidence was obtained from the metastable transitions.

A new interferometer has been designed in order to perform measurements of refractive indices and refractive index increments on liquid systems under elevated pressure at different temperatures. The method of measurement, the calibration of the instrument and the treatment of data are described. With a series of test measurements on trans-decalin it is shown that with this instrument reliable results are obtained.

A New pH-Dependent Macrocyclic Rhodamine B-Based Fluorescent Probe for Copper Detection in White Wine

For efficiently measuring copper (II) ions in the acidic media of white wine, a new chemosensor based on rhodamine B coupled to a tetraazamacrocyclic ring (13aneN4CH2NH2) was designed and synthesized by a one-pot reaction using ethanol as a green solvent. The obtained chemosensor was characterized via NMR, UV and fluorescent spectra. It was marked with no color emission under neutral pH conditions, with a pink color emission under acidic conditions, and a magenta color emission under acidic conditions where copper (II) ions were present. Portable neuroimaging technologies can be employed for long-term monitoring of neurophysiological and neuropathological states. Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) and Electroencephalography (EEG) are highly suited for such a purpose. Their multimodal integration allows the evaluation of hemodynamic and electrical brain activity together with neurovascular coupling. An innovative fNIRS-EEG system is here presented. The detection efficiency of the clover Ge-detectors array at the RITU-GREAT facility

Absolute detection efficiency depending upon its position along the beam line is determined for three germanium detectors, that are part of the GREAT spectrometer at the RITU separator focal plane. The efficiency is determined for an energy range from 80 keV to 1400 keV for all three detectors as an array and also individually using digital electronics. The optimal position for the detector array has been defined for two configurations of the GREAT spectrometer: with planar detector and without it. In-beam test results of the Super-FRS GEM-TPC detector prototype with relativistic uranium ion beam

As an essential part of the Super-FRS particle identification, the GEM-TPC detector in a twin field-cage configuration will provide position information at up to 1 MHz counting rate with a spatial resolution 95 %. This detector is designed to provide particle-beam tracking information of projectiles ranging from protons to uranium. The performance of the GEM-TPC detector in a single field-cage configuration and newly integrated AWAGS readout electronics with a differential output was studied at the FRS for the response to the uranium beam at 850 MeV/u with intensity up to 1000 ions/spill. A Non-Local Mode-I Cohesive Model for Ascending Thoracic Aorta Dissections (ATAD)

This paper presents a non-local interface mechanical model to describe aortic dissection. In this regard, the mode-I debonding problem based on a cohesive zone modeling is endowed with non-local terms to include long-range interactions that are present in multi-layered biological tissue. Such non-local effects are related to the collagen fibers that transmit forces between non-adjacent elements. Numerical simulations are provided with different values of the non-local parameters in order to show the effect of the non-locality during the debonding processes.
