Teos on ensimmäinen intermediaalista kirjallisuutta ja kirjallista intermediaalisuutta käsittelevä suomenkielinen kokonaisesitys. Maģistra darbā „Metaliterārais vēstījums romānā Džentlmeņa Tristrama Šendija dzīve un uzskati un tā ekranizācijā” ir veikts Lorensa Sterna literārā pirmavota un Maikla Vinterbotoma adaptācijas Tristrams Šendijs: stāsts par gaili un bulli metanaratīvu salīdzinājums. Darba mērķis ir atainot filmas un romāna metanaratīva aspektus un noteikt paņēmienus, kādi ir izmantoti metanaratīvu tekstā adaptējot romāna ekranizācijā. Book and Radio Play Silences : Medial Pauses and Reticence in ‘Murke's Collected Silences’ by Heinrich Böll

This article analyses silence at the interface between print and audio media by reading and listening to Heinrich Böll's short story ‘Murke's Collected Silences’ (‘Doktor Murkes gesammeltes Schweigen’) in its book (1958) and three German-language radio play versions (1965; 1986; 1989). Reference is also made to Benjamin Gwilliam's sound art piece (2007) based on the 1986 adaptation. The Böll story thematises silence and media in various ways, and has definite countertextual aspects, in the sense of technology, textuality, and materiality of language. Il aborde le rôle du format dans la création, développant une réflexion sur ses usages en art, en poésie, dans le théâtre, dans le domaine du livre, des périodiques et de productions telles que les carnets d’artistes. Il met en exergue la dimension expérimentale des variations de format dans les processus de création artistique et les stratégies éditoriales ou de conservation, ainsi que les pratiques hybrides (texte / image) et les transferts intermédiaux.

International audience; This paper focuses on Cloth, A Visual and Verbal Collaboration by Paul Muldoon and Rita Duffy. Muldoon’s poetic text and Duffy’s paintings were commissioned by the Millennium Court Arts Centre in Portadown in 2007 to feature in a collaborative exhibition and catalogue under the general banner “Interrogating Contested Spaces in Post-Conflict Society”. Duffy’s images and Muldoon’s prose poem – which subtly echo W.B. Marginalisé dans les études symonsiennes, London: A Book of Aspects (1909) se présente comme un récit de voyage doublé d’une réflexion sur la « mêlée des arts ». Le poète de London Nights et de Silhouettes ne vise nullement le réalisme journalistique mais élabore un récit feuilleté où l’art de la danse et de la peinture se mêlent à une réflexion plus large sur l’écriture, l’identité et la mémoire. Une version jamais publiée se doublait de photogravures d’Alvin Langdon Coburn inscrivant en outre la rencontre de l’image et du texte.
