Insights into the Mechanism of Anodic N–N Bond Formation by Dehydrogenative Coupling

The electrochemical synthesis of pyrazolidine-3,5-diones and benzoxazoles by N-N bond formation and C,O linkage, respectively, represents an easy access to medicinally relevant structures. Electrochemistry as a key technology ensures a safe and sustainable approach. We gained insights in the mechanism of these reactions by combining cyclovoltammetric and synthetic studies. The electron-transfer behavior of anilides and dianilides was studied and led to the following conclusion: The N-N bond formation involves a diradical as intermediate, whereas the benzoxazole formation is based on a cationic mechanism. The objective of this study is to conduct a qualitative and a quantitative image quality and lesion evaluation in patients undergoing MR-guided radiation therapy (MRgRT) for prostate cancer on a hybrid magnetic resonance imaging and linear accelerator system (MR-Linac or MRL) at 1.5 Tesla. This prospective study was approved by the institutional review board. A total of 13 consecutive patients with biopsy-confirmed prostate cancer and an indication for MRgRT were included. Prior to radiation therapy, each patient underwent an MR-examination on an MRL and on a standard MRI scanner at 3 Tesla (MRI3T). The macroscopic and microscopic anatomy of the oral cavity is complex and unique in the human body. Soft-tissue structures are in close interaction with mineralized bone, but also dentine, cementum and enamel of our teeth. These are exposed to intense mechanical and chemical stress as well as to dense microbiologic colonization. Teeth are susceptible to damage, most commonly to caries, where microorganisms from the oral cavity degrade the mineralized tissues of enamel and dentine and invade the soft connective tissue at the core, the dental pulp. Identification and Quantification of Valuable Compounds in Red Grape Seeds

Grape seeds are a by-product of the wine industry. They represent 38–52% of grape pomace and about 5% of the weight of grapes. The main objective of this study is to establish some important characteristics of grape seeds from red varieties cultivated in Romania. The analyzed grape varieties were Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot noir, Burgund Mare, Cadarcă, Syrah, Novac. The grape seeds were dried and ground and the following determinations were made: determination of total polyphenol content, antioxidant capacity, antiradical capacity and determination of phenolic compounds. Tras la Constitución de 2019 se avizora un nuevo horizonte de la responsabilidad parental en Cuba, que nace entre la constitucionalización de los derechos familiares y el reconocimiento constitucional de las garantías procesales como expresión de cambios sociales y corolario del influjo de la internacionalización de las relaciones familiares. A raíz de todo lo cual surge un programa de reformas de las instituciones sustantivas y procesales, que inspirado en el interés superior del niño debe integrar, en modo coherente y sistemático, las orientaciones que descienden del sistema convencional y la axiología que pauta el actual texto constitucional.

Tam veikta broma aizvietošana 2,6-vietās ar dažādiem amīniem, iegūstot desmit jaunus oriģinālus savienojumus. Dots jaunsintezēto savienojumu fiziko-ķīmisko īpašību raksturojums, noteikta sintezēto savienojumu reducējošās kapacitātes aktivitāte, izmantojot fosformolibdēna kompleksa metodi, veikta antiradikālās aktivitātes noteikšana ar 1,1-difenil-2-pikrilhidrazil brīvo radikāļu metodi. Aroniju ogu fitoķīmiskā sastāva izvērtēšana. Batarāga A. Zinātniskā vadītāja Asoc.prof. Dr. ķīm. Prikšāne A., konsultante Mg.ķīm. Valkovska V. Maģistra darbs, 76 lappuses, 46 attēli, 20 tabulas, 44 literatūras avoti. Latviešu valodā. Darbā analizēts aroniju ogu fitoķīmiskais sastāvs, nosakot kopējo fenolu, flavonoīdu saturu un antiradikālo aktivitāti. Lai pagatavotu analizējamos paraugus, izmantotas gan sasaldētas, gan ţāvētas ogas un kā ekstrahenti – 70 % etanola/ūdens, 10 % glicerīna/etanola un daţādu koncentrāciju un pH vērtību etanola/ūdens/HCl maisījumi.
