Abstract Thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) concentration in serum has been determined in healthy subjects and in patients suffering acute hepatitis and chronic cases of hepatitis C. Treatment with interferon of the chronic active hepatitis C patients, 5 × 10 6 U three times a week during 2 months, led in those patients whose SGPT activity normalized in serum, to a concomitant decrease in serum TBARS content. The possible theoretical involvement of peroxidation and antioxidants in this beneficial effect of interferon in hepatitis C patients is discussed. Tutkimukseni tavoite on tarkastella opiskelijoiden kokemuksia opinto-ohjauksesta lukiossa. Tutkimuskysymykseni on: miten lukio-opiskelijat kuvaavat kokemuksiaan opinto-ohjauksesta ja minkälaiset ohjaustilanteet ovat heidän mukaansa olleet onnistuneita ja mitkä epäonnistuneita. Aineistonkeruu tapahtui ennalta laaditun teemahaastatteluarungon avulla. Haastateltavien joukkoon kuuluu ns. tavallisen lukion opiskelijoita sekä aikuislukion opiskelijoita. Analyysissa käytän kuvailevaa fenomenologista analyysia, joka pyrkii kuvailemaan haastateltavien kokemuksia. This research investigates how non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working against human trafficking in Thailand and male tourists travelling to Thailand for sex legitimize their actions and perspectives on their websites. The research material is constituted by two websites for each of both categories. Plot analysis was used as a main method, based on Northrop Frye’s mythoi and Kenneth Burke’s dramatistic hexad. Subsequently, plots were deconstructed by pointing out omissions, inconsistencies, and dualities.
