GHZ state generation of three Josephson qubits in the presence of bosonic baths

2013

We analyze an entangling protocol to generate tripartite Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states in a system consisting of three superconducting qubits with pairwise coupling. The dynamics of the open quantum system is investigated by taking into account the interaction of each qubit with an independent bosonic bath with an ohmic spectral structure. To this end a microscopic master equation is constructed and exactly solved. We find that the protocol here discussed is stable against decoherence and dissipation due to the presence of the external baths.

External training load and the effects on training response following three different training sessions in young elite beach volleyball players

2020

Purpose The interaction between external training load (ETL) and players internal response in beach volleyball is currently poor investigated. Using single parameters (e.g. jump volume) described in indoor settings is questionable due to specific load characteristics like sandy ground and reduced number of players. The aim of this work is to analyze ETL and the effects on training response in different beach volleyball training settings. Methods This study was conducted with 7 youth elite athletes (age: 18.9 ± 1.3 years, height: 185.2 ± 7 cm, body mass: 75.9 ± 10.4 kg, 2 males/5 females). Training sessions were classified into three categories with (A) high session jump volume (SJV) and low…

Android lietotne ceļu locītavu rehabilitācijai

2016

A simple method for measurement of mechanical power in jumping.

1983

A simple test for the measurement of mechanical power during a vertical rebound jump series has been devised. The test consists of measuring the flight time with a digital timer (+/- 0.001 s) and counting the number of jumps performed during a certain period of time (e.g., 15-60 s). Formulae for calculation of mechanical power from the measured parameters were derived. The relationship between this mechanical power and a modification of the Wingate test (r = 0.87, n = 12 males) and 60 m dash (r = 0.84, n = 12 males) were very close. The mechanical power in a 60 s jumping test demonstrated higher values (20 W X kgBW-1) than the power in a modified (60 s) Wingate test (7 W X kgBW-1) and a Mar…

Change of Direction Biomechanics in a 180-Degree Pivot Turn and the Risk for Noncontact Knee Injuries in Youth Basketball and Floorball Players.

2021

Background: Studies investigating biomechanical risk factors for knee injuries in sport-specific tasks are needed. Purpose: To investigate the association between change of direction (COD) biomechanics in a 180-degree pivot turn and knee injury risk among youth team sport players. Study Design: Cohort study; Level of evidence, 2. Methods: A total of 258 female and male basketball and floorball players (age range, 12-21 years) participated in the baseline COD test and follow-up. Complete data were obtained from 489 player-legs. Injuries, practice, and game exposure were registered for 12 months. The COD test consisted of a quick ball pass before and after a high-speed 180-degree pivot turn o…

Plānošanas un laika pārvaldības tīmekļa lietojumprogramma organizācijas darbībai un personīgai lietošanai

2022

Robust Estimation for Discrete Markov System with Time-Varying Delay and Missing Measurements

2013

This paper addresses theℋ∞filtering problem for time-delayed Markov jump systems (MJSs) with intermittent measurements. Within network environment, missing measurements are taken into account, since the communication channel is supposed to be imperfect. A Bernoulli process is utilized to describe the phenomenon of the missing measurements. The original system is transformed into an input-output form consisting of two interconnected subsystems. Based on scaled small gain (SSG) theorem and proposed Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF), the scaled small gains of the subsystems are analyzed, respectively. New conditions for the existence of theℋ∞filters are established, and the correspondingℋ∞f…

Cloud motion detection from infrared satellite images

2002

The estimation of cloud motion from a sequence of satellite images can be considered a challenging task due to the complexity of phenomena implied. Being a non-rigid motion and implying non-linear events, most motion models are not suitable and new algorithms have to be developed. We propose a novel technique, combining a Block Matching Algorithm (BMA) and a best candidate block search along with a vector median regularisation.

STUDY OF LEG MOVEMENT IN ONE- AND TWO-LEGGED HOPPING

2012

This study was based on the previous research where mechanics of the leg-pushing phase in shot put was studied. The present paper examined the functional mechanics of leg movements during the ground contact of the jumps on one leg and on two legs. The principle of the measuring method was to photograph the movement in series of subject images on one frame where the marker lights attached to the subject can be seen as broken light-lines. The measuring accuracy of the system (time and distance) proved to be very high. This new measuring method is a useful complement to the existing methods. The aim of the study was to approximate the measured points by a suitable curve. Two equations (represe…

L'automobile, la velocità e l'architettura come mantello

2005
