In France, the spring of 2016 was marked by a number of demonstrations against the reform of the labour laws. The employers and the unions refused to discuss this reform which had been drawn up without any consultation. It pursues questionable objectives, in particular wanting to make the principal level of industrial relations take place at the level of the firm. Once again, despite a high level of social discontent, collective action was limited. This collective failure to act is mainly due to the institutionalization of trade unions and their financing by employers and the State.

Abstract∞ This article provides new insight into how the ‘found grandchildren’ of postconflict Argentina are reconstructing their sense of self and identity after having been identified as children of disappeared political activists in the aftermath of the last military regime (1976–1983). We offer tools for understanding how they respond to the context-specific transitional justice measures of identification and restitution, and how this plays out on social media. Resumen: El presente trabajo indaga sobre las posibilidades de conocer el proceso criminal valenciano a través del estudio de los procesos instados por particulares ante el Real Consell Criminal de la Real Audiencia valenciana. El estudio de la praxis de la justicia del rey en el Real Consell Criminal puede aportar datos interesantes, más allá del conocimiento del proceso criminal valenciano o del funcionamiento de la justicia de la Real Audiencia, también sobre el funcionamiento de la justicia criminal en el Antiguo Régimen en general.

Enfocando algunas figuras concretas, como Plaerdemavida en Tirant lo Blanc y Triola en Platir, se considera el valor del humorismo en la asunción de un papel educativo que posibilita el establecimiento, por parte de estas mujeres, de un juego con el concepto de amor y de sexualidad. La pobreza es una de las principales lacras de nuestras sociedades y desafortunadamente no es reciente. En el presente artículo me propongo acercarme de la mano del filósofo y humanista valenciano Juan Luis Vives al problema de la pobreza. Vives fue el primer pensador europeo en escribir un tratado De subventione pauperum proponiendo soluciones al problema de la pobreza. Recientemente la también filósofa valenciana Adela Cortina ha publicado un nuevo libro donde, siguiendo la aportación de Vives, propone enfrentarse al problema de la pobreza o “aporofobia” desde una perspectiva ética y de justicia.
