Effect of organic loading rate on the production of Polyhydroxyalkanoates from sewage sludge

The aim of this work was to study the effect of organic loading rate on the production of Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) from sewage sludge. Synthesis of PHA using sewage sludge as platform was achieved in this work. Three pilot-scale selection-sequencing batch reactors (S-SBR) were used for obtaining a culture able to accumulate PHA following a strategy of aerobic dynamic feeding (ADF) at different volumetric organic-loading-rate (vOLR): 1.3, 1.8 and 0.8 g COD L-1 d-1 for S-SBR 1, S-SBR 2 and S-SBR 3, respectively. The synthesis of the intramolecularly coordinated stannylenes and their transition-metal complexes of the type RN(CH2CMe2O)2SnL [1: L = lone pair, R = Me; 2: L = lone pair, R = n-octyl; 5: L =W(CO)5, R = Me; 6: L = Cr(CO)5, R = Me; 7: L =W(CO)5, R = n-octyl; 8: L = Fe(CO)4, R = Me], and of the tin(IV) compounds RN(CH2CMe2O)2SnBr2 (9: R = Me), [MeN(CH2CMe2O)2SnBr2]2·SnBr2(OH)2 (10) and spiro-[RN(CH2CMe2O)2]2Sn (3: R = Me; 4: R = n-octyl) is reported. The compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, 1H, 13C, 119Sn, and 119Sn magic-angle spinning (5, 6) NMR spectroscopy, electrospray mass spectrometry, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.

Water-soluble double-coated magnetic nanoparticles (NPs) containing cytotoxic decyldimethyl(β-dimethylaminoethoxy)silane methiodide (AA) molecule sorbed at biocompatible magnetic particles, which consist of magnetite pre-coated with oleic acid (OA), have been prepared. New original water-soluble magnetic nanoparticles based on natural components, magnetite–oleic acid–biologically active silyl modified alkanolamine, were synthesized. Physico-chemical characterization, i.e. magnetic properties, concentration of magnetite, size of iron oxide core, of the nanoparticles synthesized and the corresponding magnetic fluids obtained, was carried out. W 1810 r. doszło do kasaty klasztoru kanoników regularnych p.w. św. Mikołaja w Kaliszu. W Archiwum Diecezjalnym we Włocławku zachował się protokół sekularyzacyjny, przedstawiający stan kościoła, zabudowań klasztornych, wyposażenie kościoła oraz zakrystii. W protokole znajduje się też spis dochodów klasztoru, głownie fundacji mszalnych z miejscowości położonych w pobliskich powiatach oraz z domów znajdujących się w Kaliszu. Z przedstawionego stanu majątkowego wynika, że sytuacja klasztoru była stabilna, co oznacza, że likwidacja konwentu kaliskiego była nieuzasadniona i niezrozumiała.
