Meditāciju saistība ar smadzeņu darbību, izmantojot elektroencefalogrāfu (EEG), randomizēti kontrolētos pētījumos: metaanalīze

Mūsdienās meditācijas tiek praktizētas ne tikai austrumos, bet kļuvušas populāras arī rietumu pasaulē. Šajā metaanalīzē tika meklēta atbilde uz jautājumu, kādas saistības pastāv starp meditācijām un galvas smadzeņu viļņu darbību pieaugušajiem randomizēti kontrolētos pētījumos. Metaanalīzē tika iekļauti trīs pētījumi ar alfas viļņu rādītājiem un kopējo izlases apjomu N = 94. Metaanalīzes aprēķini uzrāda nelielu statistiski nozīmīgu efektu r = 0,20 (p<0,001). Tādējādi šī pētījuma ietvaros secināms, ka pēc meditācijām novērojams neliels efekts uz galvas smadzeņu alfa viļņu rādītājiem. This study examines longitudinal associations among reading skills, math skills and emotional well-being in a Finnish sample (n = 586) followed from the end of comprehensive school (Grade 9, age 15–16) to age 20. In particular, we determine whether the associations between skills and well-being are mediated by self-concept beliefs. Televisión Española (TVE) has made possible the dissemination of medical topics in the 2016 season through four specialized health programs: Saber vivir, Centro médico, Esto es vida and El ojo clínico. In order to better understand their reception by spectators, this study analyzes, on the one hand, the data from the audiometry and, on the other hand, the results of a survey launched through social networks.
