The present field experiment examines the relationship between self-awareness, violation of personal space and helping behavior. A beggar asking for alms on the streets. To induce the first experimental condition, the state of objective self-awareness, the beggar had a mirror at chest height, suspended from a string round his neck. In the control condition, in place of the mirror, the beggar held a similarly dimensioned piece of cardboard in the same position. Both mirror and cardboard bore the message "A FEW PENNIES THANKS." Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and Hirshfeld surface analysis of the title compound were carried out to analyse quantitatively the intermolecular interactions involved in the crystal packing. The electrostatic potential surface was generated over the Hirshfeld surface to visualize the potential active sites.
Algoritmu analīze lietotāja izvēlēta poligona atrašanai ģeogrāfiskā grafā

Bakalaura darbā tiek formalizēta ģeogrāfiskās informācijas sistēmas (ĢIS) problēma, kurai ir nepieciešams algoritmisks risinājums. Pēc testēšanas metodoloģijas sastādīšanas, tiek analizēti vairāki grafu algoritmi un datu struktūras. Mērījumu rezultātā tiek sastādīts heiristisks, problēmai specifisks algoritms. Tiek veikti tā ātrdarbības mērījumi, asimptotiskā analīze un aprakstīti ierobežojumi. Tiek secināts, ka problēmu ir iespējams pārveidot uz saistītu dator-ģeometrijas problēmu, un aprakstīts kā veikt šo pārveidojumu. Daudzplakņu ekrāna radītās telpiskās uztveres novērtējums

Darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 31 lapaspuses. Tas satur 14 attēlus un 40 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Pētījuma mērķis bija novērtēt, cik precīzi tiek uztverti daudzplakņu ekrāna radītie telpiskie attēli tuvajos skatīšanās attālumos. 23 pētījuma dalībnieku uzdevums bija saskaņot attālumu starp atbildes iesniegšanas ierīces stieņiem ar attālumu starp daudzplakņu ekrāna attēla tuvāko un tālāko slāni (attēla dziļumu). Pētījumā tika noteikts, ka, pieaugot attēla dziļumam 45 cm un 65 cm skatīsanās attālumos, attēla dziļuma noteikšanas precizitāte samazinās, kā arī pārsvarā attēlu dziļums tiek novērtēts par mazu, ko ir svarīgi ņemt vērā izvērtējot daudzplakņu ekrāna izmantošanas piered…

Aim General models for understanding the climate-driven processes of post-glacial colonization in European arctic–alpine species are mainly derived from studies on temperate terrestrial taxa. However, cold-adapted freshwater species may tolerate or even thrive under colder climatic conditions as flowing water habitats are thermally buffered against freezing and extremely cold temperatures. Ischyropsalis dentipalpis Canestrini, 1872 is re-defined, and a neotype from the type locality in the Aosta Valley, Italy, is assigned. I. helvetica Roewer, 1916 (sensu Martens 1978) is shown to be conspecific and therefore is synonymised with I. dentipalpis. A population from Bergamo Province, Italy, formerly assigned to I. dentipalpis (sensu Martens 1978), is here regarded as a different species and described under the name Ischyropsalis lithoclasica sp. n. Discrimination of males is possible by genital characters and by the shape of the cheliceral and pedipalpal apophyses. Females are distinguished by peculiarities of cheliceral spination.
