Spēļošana pašvadītu mācīšanās prasmju attīstībai 5. Klases skolēniem angļu valodas stundās

Diplomdarba mērķis ir izpētīt, kādi spēļošanas elementi var palīdzēt attīstīt skolēnu pašvadītas mācīšanās prasmes 5. klases angļu valodas stundās, jo pašvadītas mācīšanās prasmes ir nozīmīgas skolēnu turpmākajai dzīvei. Turklāt iepriekšējā pētījumā autore atklāja, ka spēļošana ir efektīvs līdzeklis, lai saglabātu skolēnu interesi un motivāciju. Kā pētījuma metode tika izvēlēta gadījuma izpēte. Datu vākšanas metodes ietvēra anketu, autores pašnovērtējumu un angļu valodas stundu refleksijas, kā arī skolēnu atsauksmes. Diplomdarbs tika izstrādāts, lai padziļinātu izpratni par “Es protu apgalvojumu” izmantošanu kā pašvadītu mācīšanās prasmju novērtēšanas instrumenta faktisko pielietojumu un lai noteiktu, vai tas palīdz uzlabot skolēnu angļu valodas sasniegumus. Diplomdarba mērķis bija izpētīt, kā pašvadītas mācīšanās “Es protu apgalvojumus” var izmantot angļu valodas stundās, lai uzlabotu skolēnu angļu valodas sniegumu 4. klasē. Intercultural Awareness of Iranian English Language Learners : An Exploration

The present paper reports on a qualitative study investigating how Iranian learners of English as a foreign language understand culture and the extent to which this understanding meets the needs of efficient intercultural communication. In order to gather data, in-depth semistructured interviews were conducted with eight participants. The interviews were designed and thematically analyzed using Baker’s (2011) model of intercultural awareness. This article discusses the significance of CLIL education from the students’ perspective. Two former CLIL students, who received extensive English CLIL education in primary school in 1990s, were interviewed during the summer 2016. The purpose of this pilot study was to investigate the memories they had of CLIL and how they perceived its influence on their life courses. The interviews were analysed using thematic analysis with a theory-oriented framework. Although foreign language anxiety is a widely studied construct assumed to develop from negative experiences of language instruction, few researchers have focused on young learners in this regard. This multiple case study investigates levels and triggers of language anxiety in Swedish primary classrooms under rather favorable learning conditions with a supportive, non-competitive atmosphere, and without formal knowledge requirements or grades. Traditionally, the measures are quantitative and they use production units such as words, clauses, T -units, and sentences.
