La circulation de l'information dans la presse des expulsés
2016
This article is aimed at analysing the circulation of the information flow in the press of expellees. From press releases of the Landsmannschaften, of the BdV or the political parties, over travel journals from local associations or texts from readers, content of journals is rarely written from the editors of newspapers. In this niche in the medias placed out of the mass medias, the interactions between the different titles are unavoidable, they are even desirable to support this economically weak sector. A case study will show how the circulation of information allows enrichment of the publications but also how if it leads to a retreat of this press section.
2020
This study focuses on the nature and origin of prevention information available to health professionals in the field of nutrition for pregnant women. It focuses more specifically on information sharing practices regarding two infectious risks: toxoplasmosis and listeriosis. We will focus here on the recommendations found in institutional texts, which show striking characteristics which need to be taken into account in the training of professionals: such recommendations are evolving in nature, with shifts in clarity and degree of precision, and are diverse in terms of messag…

Project report : Lessons learned from terminology harmonisation
2022
A common understanding of language and the meaning of concepts is needed for communications in general, and can be crucial to save lives in large rescue operations. Redningshåndboka (the National Rescue handbook) provides a common glossary for first responders’ communications across all sectors in training and practice. However, today each sector maintains their own glossaries, acronyms and jargon, causing potential misunderstandings in joint operations. In this report we outline lessons learned from national and international standardisation and additional practical project outcomes to contribute to terminology harmonisation from the INSITU project.
Stakeholders, contradictions and salience: An empirical study of a Norwegian G2G effort
2006
Author's version of a chapter in Proceedings of the 39th Annual Hawaii International Conference on Systems Sciences. Also available from the publisher at http://dx.doi.org/10.1109/HICSS.2006.436 Previous studies indicate that the expected effects of e-Government are slower to realize than initially expected. Several authors argue that e-Government involves particularly complex settings, consisting of a variety of stakeholders promoting different and often conflicting objectives. Yet, few studies have explicitly addressed the inherent challenges of this complexity. This study focuses on the extent to which contradictory stakeholder objectives can help explain the relatively slow progress of …
Repercussions of Evolutionism in the Spanish Natural History Society
2001
In 1871, during the markedly libe ral environment created by the Sexennial Revolution (1868-1874), the Spanish Natural History Society (SEHN) was founded) It was established at the instigation of an active group of naturalists whose primary objectives were to promote the study of Natural History in Spain, discuss the most relevant problems relating to this discipline, and have a vehicle through which to publish their work. This early initiative was highly successful, with the number of members in the first three decades fluctuating between 290-300 and, in some years, exceeding four hundred. University professors and teachers from the Faculties of Science, Medicine and Pharmacy; researchers …
