PEM FC Single Cell Based on a 3-D Printed Plastic Housing and Experimental Validation with the Mathematical Model

Abstract This paper presents the design, modelling, and testing of a PEM single fuel cell based on the use of 3D printing. The design of the housings was made of SolidWorks, while MATLAB/SIMULINK were used to model performance. The fabricated cell performed satisfactorily with no leaks of gas, showing that the 3D printing method can be used in the additive manufacturing of fuel cells thus leading to significant cost savings.

In the application of CNC feed drives it is desirable to predict the servo performance. By using computer simulation techniques it is possible to construct an accurate model of the servo drive. This simulation procedure makes it possible to anticipate machine design problems and correct them. This paper deals with a model of a feed drive, which consists of a motion control system driven by a DC motor. Both position and velocity feedback loops are present in the structure of the system. The availability of experimental information on solid distribution inside stirred tanks is a topic of great importance in several industrial applications. The measurement of solid particle distribution in turbulent multiphase flow is not simple and the development of suitable measurement techniques is still in progress. A novel improved matlab-based software for the electric and magnetic analysis and design of rotating electrical machines

The aim of this paper is to present a software for the analysis and design of windings of rotating electrical machines, considering both the electric and the magnetic specifications on the machine. The considered machines are induction motors (IM) and PM synchronous motors (PMSM). The software accounts for the case of buried magnets (IPMSM), but with some limits, because the calculations require a much more detailed analysis regarding the magnetic circuit. However, this initial limitation of the software, that will be removed in a later version, does not constitute a major limitation as confirmed by the examples presented in this paper.

Darbā tiek aprakstīti izmantotākie attēlu saspiešanas algoritmi un failu formāti, kas satur dažādos saspiešanas algoritmu kombinācijas. Gan algoritmi, gan attēlu formāti tiek salīdzināti savā starpā ar dažādiem kritērijiem bezzudumu un zudumu algoritmiem. Salīdzināšanai tiek izmantotas autora rakstītas algoritmu realizācijas MATLAB valodā un attēlu apstrādes programma attēlu formātu veidošanā. Tiek veikti secinājumi par algoritmu efektivitāti – ātrdarbību, saspiešanas spējām un attēla kvalitātes izmaiņām.
