Promuovere negli uomini la scelta di prepararsi all’esercizio della professione di maestro di scuola primaria

The sixth principle of the Charte de la Ligue Internationale de l’Education Nouvelle of 1921 emphasizes the concept of coeducation. The definition of this concept provides interesting insights to launch a proactive debate on the need to increase the male presence in primary school teaching staff. First of all, some results of empir- ical research that support the request to increase the number of male teachers in the primary school are displayed. Secondly, the most significant measures adopted by some States to promote the figure of the male primary school teacher are described. Finally, a few proposals are made on what could be done in Italy.

Il sesto principio della Charte de la Ligue Internationale de l’Education Nouvelle del 1921 pone l’accento sul concetto di coeducazione. La definizione di questo concetto fornisce spunti interessanti per avviare un dibattito propositivo sulla necessità di accrescere la quota maschile nel corpo docente della scuola prima- ria. In primo luogo si espongono alcuni risultati di ricerche sul campo che avvalorano la richiesta di aumentare il numero degli in- segnanti maschi nel corpo docente della scuola primaria. In secondo luogo si descrivono le misure adottate da alcuni Stati per promuovere la figura del maestro di scuola primaria. High-Frequency Experimental Characterization and Modeling of Six Pack IGBTs Power Modules

In this paper, a method to characterize the high-frequency (HF) behavior of six pack insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) power module (PM) is presented. The method is based on experimental measurements at the external pins of the device and it allows one to extract internal inductive and capacitive parasitic coupling without the knowledge of structural and physical parameters of the PM. The HF model of a six pack IGBTs PM has been developed, in the frequency range of 150 kHz-30 MHz, and it has been implemented in MATLAB environment. Carbon nanotubes embedded in a polyimide foil for proton acceleration with a sub-ns laser

A series of thin films made of aligned carbon nanotubes (CNTs) embedded in a polyimide substrate was designed, fabricated and used for the first time to accelerate protons and C ions by interaction with a sub-nanosecond, high power laser beam (600 J energy and 300 ps pulse width) with peak intensity of about 3 × 1016 W/cm2 on target. Each target was 5 μm thick, and the composite material contained CNTs aligned in different directions in the substrate. Application of the ESR spectroscopy to estimate the original dose in irradiated chicken bone

Abstract The paper discusses the results of an investigation aimed to use the ESR spectroscopy as a quantitative procedure to estimate the original dose in irradiated chicken. The time stability of the ESR signal was at first carried out, to obtain a correction factor to be applied to the dose estimated with the added dose method. Our results show that this procedure gives an estimation of the original dose within ±25%.

Progettazione di un irradiatore autocontenuto per la calibrazione di dosimetri personali a termoluminescenza

I dosimetri a termoluminescenza utilizzati nel campo della dosimetria personale necessitano – per un loro corretto impiego - di una preventiva fase di calibrazione, realizzata con dose-rate compresi tra 2,5 10-4 mGy/h e 0,01 mGy/h. Per ottenere valori di dose-rate in tale range, si è progettato un irradiatore autocontenuto e autoschermato di piccole dimensioni, utilizzante una sorgente di bassa attività.

Irradiatori neutronici basati su sorgenti radionuclidiche sono impiegati in diversi paesi per l’analisi per attivazione di vari campioni, per studiare le caratteristiche dei materiali sottoposti a irradiazione, ma anche per studiare la risposta di rivelatori e/o dosimetri personali sensibili alla componente neutronica.
