Pieaugušo priekšstati par dzimumlomām atbilstošām bērnu emociju izpausmēm un intensitāti

Šī bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt pieaugušo piedēvēto emociju intensitāti dažāda dzimumu bērniem un to saistību ar dzimumlomu attieksmēm. Pētījumā piedalījās 172 respondenti, no tiem 124 sievietes un 48 vīrieši. Pētījumam ir iekšgrupas eksperimenta dizains, kurā tika izmantoti divi instrumenti: stāstiņi par bērnu emocijām un to intensitāti, kuros eksperimenta nolūkos tika mainīts bērna dzimums, un Dzimuma lomu bērnu audzināšanā attieksmes skala (Child-Rearing Sex-Role Attitude Scale, CRSRAS, Freeman, 2007). Pieaugot pilsētvides nelabvēlīgajiem faktoriem ar dažādu spektru elektromagnētisko lauku avotiem, tiek izstrādāti biomateriāli ar patērētājam aizsargājošām īpašībām. Dzintara un silīcija dioksīda mikro- un nanodaļiņas tiek pētītas kā potenciāls rindu materiāls integrācijai biotekstilmateriālu šķiedrās. Pētījuma mērķis bija adaptēt metodes biotekstilmateriālu aizsargājošo īpašību noteikšanai pret dažādu frekvenču elektromagnētiskajiem laukiem un novērtēt antimikrobiālās biotekstila īpašības. They are commonly built from aggregate data and incorporate margins as a prudent measure to ensure the insurance company’s viability. Solvency II requires insurance companies to calculate technical provisions using best-estimate assumptions for future experience (mortality, expenses, lapses, etc) to separate (i) the risk-free component from (ii) adverse deviation of claims. Bildes var arī ievietot ar statiskā bloka palīdzību, taču tur bilžu ievietošana ir bāzēta uz HTML kodu. Bilžu ievietošana, stils un slīdrādes funkcionalitāte nav jānodrošina modulim, tā būs katra interneta veikala dizainera un izstrādātāja uzdevums. Modulis paredzēts tikai administrēšanai.

Abstract Existing mutagenicity tests for metazoans lack the direct observation of enhanced germline mutation rates after exposure to anthropogenic substances, therefore being inefficient. Cadmium (Cd) is a metal described as a mutagen in mammalian cells and listed as a group 1 carcinogenic and mutagenic substance. But Cd mutagenesis mechanism is not yet clear. Therefore, in the present study, we propose a method coupling short-term mutation accumulation (MA) lines with subsequent whole genome sequencing (WGS) and a dedicated data analysis pipeline to investigate if chronic Cd exposure on Chironomus riparius can alter the rate at which de novo point mutations appear. Developmental anomalies of the thyroid gland (thyroid dysgenesis) underlie the majority of cases of congenital hypothyroidism. Only a small number of monogenic defects have been shown to result in athyreosis or orthotopic thyroid hyperplasia, whereas the commonest developmental anomaly, thyroid ectopy, remains unexplained. Ectopy may result from multiple genetic or epigenetic hits in the germline and/or at the somatic level. This chapter gives a brief overview of the monogenic defects in candidate genes that have been identified so far and of the syndromes that are known to be associated with thyroid dysgenesis. Isolation of Zebrafish Gonads for RNA Isolation

Piwi proteins and piRNAs are abundant in the gonads of various animal species. Gonads from different developmental stages provide us information regarding the function of piRNAs and the PIWI pathway during germline development. Here we describe methods for gonad and germ cell preparation from different developmental stages of zebrafish. We also describe how to use these gonads to purify and characterize piRNAs.
