The main aim of this paper is to consider from different points of view the thesis of a conservative character of Peirce’s thought. The paper consists of two parts. In the first part, arguments for Peirce’s conservatism are presented. They are of two kinds: inner ones (Peirce’s own declarations) and outer ones (a comparison of Peirce’s view o the views of two other classical pragmatists: James and Dewey). L’émergence du livre numérique dans le paysage culturel français contribue à progressivement redessiner nombre de pratiques professionnelles. Parmi les sphères professionnelles directement concernées, celle de l’information-documentation occupe une place particulière. Nous présentons ici le résultat de travaux de recherche menés auprès de professionnels, bibliothécaires ou enseignants documentalistes, usagers ou non-usagers de dispositifs de lecture numérique, afin de questionner leurs représentations du livre numérique ainsi que leurs perceptions des évolutions futures de leurs métiers.

This study explores the rhetorical strategies used by employees in a financial corporation to reject or accept corporate environmentalism among corporate responsibilities. The study is theoretically based on rhetoric and on prior research on acceptance or rejection of corporate environmentalism among other corporate responsibilities in an organization. A qualitative study, based on face-to-face interviews was conducted among 30 employees in a Finnish financial corporation. Introduction: This study aimed to assess pain in professional musicians playing various instruments, as well as to analyse the relationships between the intensity and frequency of pain and the duration of playing the instrument and somatic variables. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted between 60 professional musicians, who were divided into 3 groups: cellists, violinists, and musicians playing wind instruments.
