Les mobilités urbaines et leur impact sur l’exposition au bruit : simulation de scénarios prospectifs appliqués à la ville de Besançon

Le modele MobiSim a teste le lien entre la modification de l’offre de transport et l’exposition au bruit dans ses dimensions spatiales et temporelles, le test etant applique a l’agglomeration de Besancon. C’est la desynchronisation des activites, le report modal et les changements dans les grilles horaires des transports collectifs qui produisent des effets reduisant ou bien augmentant l’exposition au bruit selon les lieux et les moments, les populations concernees etant elles-memes socialement diversifiees.

06062; National audience; How does objective social mobility, traditionally measured with tables of mobility drawn up by sociologists, relate to feelings about mobility, i.e., how individuals perceive, explain and appraise their social trajectory? Using a question from a survey (Insee's Formation, qualification professionnelle), subjective mobility was statistically evaluated so as to bring the two approaches to mobility together and measure the (considerable) frequency of deviations. International audience; L'analyse de 19 entretiens auprès d'étudiant·es issus de milieux populaires met en avant un rapport au travail pluriel, qui s'articule autour de la dimension expressive et instrumentale de l'activité professionnelle espérée. La place de la dimension expressive tient beaucoup au statut d'étudiant du supérieur et distingue les jeunes rencontrés d'autres jeunes issus de milieux populaires. Néanmoins, la promotion sociale espérée et les attentes à son égard dépendent de la socialisation en cours d'études et de l'évolution des conditions socio-économiques des étudiant·es rencontré·es. Cette réversibilité révèle la fragilité de la mobilité sociale en train de se faire.

Several regional syntheses have been published on Bronze Age solid-hilted swords, but none for France and the Benelux countries. This dissertation aims first at filling this gap by listing the swords from this region. By adding data from these pre-existing studies, it is possible to study the distribution of solid-hilted swords on a European scale. The building of an inventory is an essential condition to study the diffusion of these weapons over long distances. This must come along with models to characterise the organisation of the swords production and the ways they spread out. This article looks at how the organization of the education system and the pathways leading to higher education enable social mobility or on the contrary the reproduction of inequalities. We thus compare three countries: France, Switzerland, and Canada. The results using panel data in these three countries show two different situations. The more higher education is valued rather than vocational training, the more inequalities tend to increase. The competition is such that it is the youth with a privileged social background who benefit more from its expansion. External knowledge sourcing in different national settings: a comparison of electronics establishments in Britain and France

04001; International audience; In a detailed comparison of matched samples of electronics establishments in Britain and France, this paper finds that the two samples of establishments were operating in distinctively different national labour markets for engineers and scientists, reflecting structural differences in national higher education systems and a far higher level of individual mobility between enterprises in Britain than is found in France.
