Estudio de las oligarquías y del gobierno municipal de tres villas costeras asturianas –Llanes, Villaviciosa y Luarca– durante la etapa final del Antiguo Régimen, tanto desde la óptica de la historia institucional como la historia social del poder. Se analiza tanto el origen de sus oligarquías –vinculado a la compra de cargos municipales y de extracción básicamente nobiliaria– como las analogías y las diferencias en las formas de gobierno de los tres concejos de los que las villas citadas eran su capital. Since French Society enters the so-called “Economy of knowledge”, migrations of young people, especially these concerning students, are of most interests. Despite the fact that it could help to understand University as a system and ways regions can evolve, the study of students' migrations was not yet done. A set of results highlights first the main role of French capital region. It shows also main changes in migrations of students following vocational training in University. At least, it reveals that architectures of students' migrations look like these of migrations of the whole French population.

Celem opracowania jest wskazanie na różne wymiary procesów modernizacyjnych istotnych dla zrównoważonego rozwoju rolnictwa. Omawiane są: endogenizacja rozwoju rolnictwa, ekologizacja, dyfuzja wiedzy i informacji, warunki ponownego zakorzenienia rolnictwa w terytorium. Wskazano także na znaczenie uwarunkowań instytucjonalnych w inicjowaniu ścieżek modernizacyjnych. Analizy teoretyczne zilustrowano wnioskami z badań przeprowadzonych z wykorzystaniem wywiadu kwestionariuszowego w towarowych gospodarstwach rolnych regionu opolskiego. As burial registers corresponding to a fully excavated funeral assemblage are rather rare, the present study endeavours toexamine both wrritten data and bone remains from a chape frequented during the 17th and 18th centuries. The disparity between thepopulatiom described by the two types of sources, particularly concerning the proportions of children in each, would encourage us toreconsider wiith caution the evaluation of burial groups based on bone assemblages which are not informed by written sources. Analysisof the latter will allow us to evaluate more accurately just how representative the archaeological evidence is with respect to the overalloccupation of a given site.

First, if X is the unit ball and p > n−1, then the optimal local modulus of continuity of f −1 is attained by a radially symmetric mapping. We show that this is not the case when p 6 n − 1 and n > 3, and answer a question raised by S. Hencl and P. Koskela. Second, we obtain the optimal integrability results for |Df −1 | in terms of the L p -integrability assumptions of Kf . peerReviewed

Acoustic wave guides as infinite-dimensional dynamical systems

We prove the unique solvability, passivity/conservativity and some regularity results of two mathematical models for acoustic wave propagation in curved, variable diameter tubular structures of finite length. The first of the models is the generalised Webster's model that includes dissipation and curvature of the 1D waveguide. The second model is the scattering passive, boundary controlled wave equation on 3D waveguides. The two models are treated in an unified fashion so that the results on the wave equation reduce to the corresponding results of approximating Webster's model at the limit of vanishing waveguide intersection.

Validation of a Shear Model for RC and Hybrid Beams with Two Different Inclinations of Transversal Reinforcement

The validation of an analytical model recently proposed for evaluation of the shear capacity in Reinforced Concrete (RC) beams containing multiple inclination of transverse stirrups is presented. The model is a suitable extension of that currently proposed in Eurocode 2 for the evaluation of the shear resistance, and it is derived by means of the the variable-inclination stressfield theory based on Nielsen’s plastic approach. Experimental and numerical data available in the literature on Hybrid Steel-Trussed Concrete Beams (HSTCBs) are used for model validation and result discussion.
