Teatralización en grupos tutorizados de Biología en Medicina: una estrategia diferente para el aprendizaje colaborativo.

2018

[EN] Dramatization as a teaching methodology remains relatively unknown in higher education. It can be especially useful to work cross-disciplinary skills because of the cooperative nature that is intrinsic to the theater itself. The subjects and disciplines that can benefit from it must be adequately valued by teachers. Here we present an activity in small groups, focused on rare diseases with a known genetic cause, in which the theater is used as a motivating axis to gather information and organize it by creating a storyline.

Not all the students groups are uniform, and also the teachers have nonconscious prejudices for each group. Hence, every student group has its own idiosyncrasy. Games offers a more relaxed scenario compared to master class or exam, therefore we can ask questions as a team contest tha…

University students and virtual learning environments: motivation, effectiveness and satisfaction

2015

Higher Education is based increasingly on use of Virtual Learning Environments (VLE), regardless of the degree or type of matter being taught. In this research we explain a comparative study that we conducted in three Spanish universities. First we critically analyze the different virtual learning environments, in terms of its potential effectiveness for university education. Secondly, we asked the students about the degree of satisfaction with the use of these learning platforms, from the idea that students motivation is essential for learning in any academic level. The findings, as we will explain, reveal interesting facts to consider for the future.

El análisis del Compromiso Organizativo y del Liderazgo son dos elementos centrales en el estudio del Comportamiento de las Organizaciones y de la Dirección de Empresas.
