Scale invariant line matching on the sphere

International audience; This paper proposes a novel approach of line matching across images captured by different types of cameras, from perspective to omnidirectional ones. Based on the spherical mapping, this method utilizes spherical SIFT point features to boost line matching and searches line correspondences using an affine invariant measure of similarity. It permits to unify the commonest cameras and to process heterogeneous images with the least distortion of visual information.
Sensorless Speed Control for Double-Sided Linear Induction Motor Applications

In this work, a flux and speed observer for double-sided linear induction motor applications is presented and experimentally validated. More in detail, from a Double-Sided Linear Induction Motor (DLIM) prototype, the complete modelling and the determination of the related parameters are here reported. Furthermore, the equations for a d-flux and q-flux observer are conceived and several simulation tests are performed. International audience; The problem of time to contact or time to collision (TTC) estimation is largely discussed in perspective images. However, a few works have dealt with images of catadioptric sensors despite of their utility in robotics applications. The objective of this paper is to develop a novel model for estimating TTC with catadioptric images relative to a planar surface, and to demonstrate that TTC can be estimated only with derivative brightness and image coordinates. In particular, a hybrid control scheme is proposed to encompass a control law and an observer for the estimation of the system states, based only on the measurements of the input and output voltages. The activation of the myocardial muscle is triggered by Purkinje-myocardial junctions (PMJs), which are the terminal sites of the specialised cardiac conduction system (CCS). Obtaining the location of the PMJs and other sources of endocardial ectopic activity would be desirable for building computer models of cardiac electrophysiology and planning ablation interventions. We present a method to estimate the location and activation times of endocardial electrical sources in a 3D model of the ventricles. El conocimiento de la embriogenesis del cordon umbilical permite comprender su evolucion durante la gestacion y algunas variantes de lo normal, que tienen buen pronostico si se presentan de forma aislada. Al principio, el cordon umbilical esta compuesto por tres pediculos: embrionario, vitelino y alantoideo. El quiste del uraco es secundario a una persistencia anormal del conducto alantoideo, y el diverticulo de Meckel resulta de una reabsorcion incompleta del conducto vitelino. Si las anomalias del cordon son aisladas, el riesgo de aneuploidia es bajo. Resumen Objetivo Valorar el conocimiento, el deseo de inclusion y la aplicacion, en el Hospital Universitario de La Ribera, de los protocolos de atencion al parto normal, valorando los motivos por los que no se aplican y el cumplimiento de la asistencia a actividades formativas preparto. Material y metodo Estudio descriptivo transversal. Realizacion de 186 encuestas mediante muestreo de conveniencia a gestantes que acudieron a control de bienestar fetal en el hospital entre 2014 y 2015. Resume Objectif Evaluer l’evolution de la qualite de vie des patientes apres chirurgie de l’endometriose pelvienne profonde, a l’aide du questionnaire EHP-30 dans sa version francaise, ainsi que la capacite de l’EHP-30 a realiser cette mesure. Materiel et methode Etude prospective monocentrique, menee dans le service de gynecologie obstetrique du CHU de Dijon pendant la periode d’octobre 2012 a octobre 2013. Un questionnaire EHP-30 etait donne aux patientes avant l’intervention.
