Alcohol consumption during perinatal periods is common, despite the warning of adverse effects on the foetal development. In female rats, the intermittent pattern of alcohol consumption is responsible for higher drinking levels and more profound disruption of maternal care than traditional continuous free-access paradigm, which can have persistent effects on the offspring. The aim of this paper is to illustrate a possibility of obtaining various theoretical results using the connection between multivariate interpolation and reduction process with respect to a H-basis of an ideal. Using this connection we can switch between interpolation theory and the theory of ideals. As a application of this connection, we found and proved an interesting identity, which is satisfied for all polynomials in d variables from an interpolation polynomial subspace.
Properties of Generalized Polynomial Spaces in Three Variables

Multivariate interpolation is a topic which often appears in practical modeling problems. Different type of spaces of functions are used for solving interpolation problems. When the interpolation conditions are of different kind, by example, spacial and temporal, one possibility for modeling the problem is to use a generalize degree, in which the monomials exponents are weighted with a weight vector with integer components. In order to use such a generalize polynomial space as interpolation space, it is necessary to know the dimension and a basis of it. The aim of this article is to study and prove many properties of the generalize polynomial spaces in three variables.
Fundamental-mode cutoff in liquid-filled Y-shaped microstructured fibers with Ge-doped core

We report on the cutoff characteristics of a Ge-doped Y-shaped microstructured fiber in which the holes are filled with a liquid of refractive index higher than silica but lower than the Ge-doped core. It is found that the cutoff wavelength was very sensitive to temperature variations as a result of the refractive index changes of the liquid. The basic properties of such a fiber permit the fabrication of wideband tunable short-pass filters, as well as temperature sensors with high sensitivity. A temperature sensitivity of 25 nm/degrees C is reported.

During geo-archaeological research on the slope where the source associated with the Essarois (Côte-d'Or) cult site is located, in the locality of La Cave, an anatomic votive offering of a human foot was discovered in the alluvial sedimentary deposits. Carved from local oolitic limestone, it is rather crude in appearance but it is possible to make out that it has the unusual number of six toes. Although it may have been a blunder or the result of negligence by the sculptor, the phenomenon may equally have been a deliberate representation of a case of polydactyly, a malformation that was known in Antiquity.

International audience; Mammalian newborns exhibit avid responsiveness to odor compounds emanating from conspecific milk. Milk is however developmentally heterogeneous in composition as a function of both evolved constraints and offspring demand. The present study aimed to verify whether milk odor attractivity for neonates is equally distributed along lactation in Mus musculus (Balb-c strain). Therefore, we exposed pups varying in age to milk samples collected from females in different lactational stages.
