Amazon was the world’s top R&D firm in 2017. Its R&D investment was double that of 2015, quintuple that of 2012, and tenfold that of 2011. It deploys a unique R&D model as conducting “routine or periodic alternations” and “significant improvement” simultaneously. Since traditionally the former is classified as non-R&D, Amazon’s rapid and notable increase has raised the question of a new R&D definition in the digital economy. Purpose: The aim of this study is too correlate the sensitivity and thickness values of intraretinal layers at macula in healthy eyes and primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) eyes. Methods: The thickness of different intraretinal segmentations was estimated by means of optical coherence tomography (OCT) Spectralis (Heidelberg, Engineering, Inc., Heidelberg, Germany) with the posterior pole analysis program 8 × 8 in 91 eyes from 91 patients (60 with glaucoma and 31 healthy patients). Molecular layer deposition (MLD) is an increasingly used deposition technique for producing thin coatings consisting of purely organic or hybrid inorganic–organic materials. When organic materials are prepared, low deposition temperatures are often required to avoid decomposition, thus causing problems with low vapor pressure precursors. Avoimen lähdekoodin ROS-käyttöjärjestelmä on yleisesti tutkimushankkeissa käytetty robotiikan kehitysalusta. Tutkielman tavoitteena on ollut arvioida onko ROS järjestelmä, joka tulee yleistymään myös robotiikan kaupallisissa ratkaisuissa. ROS-pohjaisia kaupallisia tuotteita on jo olemassa ja sen käyttöä on pilotoitu runsaasti erilaisilla sovellusalueilla.
