Abstract: The image of the Soviet Union and Russia has changed dramatically in the press in Finland after the World War II. This article is based on a frequency analysis in which mentions of certain countries, groups of states and international organizations were coded (like the Soviet Union/Russia, United States, NATO, UN etc.). To make the analysis more revealing and interesting, a distinction was made whether the mention was made in the context of (1) alliance, friendship and cooperation, or in the context of (2) distance, restriction and enemy image, or (3) both in a positive and in a negative context. Työelämäyhteistyö ammattikorkeakouluopettajan osaamishaasteena

Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin ammattikorkeakouluopettajien työelämäyhteistyön osaamishaasteita. Tutkimusaineisto kerättiin yksilö- ja ryhmähaastatteluilla, joihin osallistui 16 eri alojen ammattikorkeakouluopettajaa. Aineisto analysoitiin temaattisella analyysillä. Työelämäyhteistyön osaamishaasteina tulivat esille muutos koulutuksen ja työelämän suhteissa, verkostomainen opettajuus, monipuolisten taitojen hallinta ja pedagogiikan uudistaminen. Ammattikorkeakouluopettajien työelämäyhteistyö edellyttää uusien taitojen omaksumisen lisäksi yhteisöllisyyden kehittämistä niin työelämän kuin opiskelijoidenkin kanssa.

Pastāv diskusija par pagarinātas preoperatīvās antibiotiku profilakses pielietošanu dažādās ķirurģijas operācijās. Darba mērķis: Izvērtēt cefazolīna septiņu dienu kursa plānu un cefazolīna vienas dienas preoperatīvās prevencijas plānu lokālu un sistēmisku infekciju prevencijā pacientiem pēc aterosklerotiskās gangrēnas kājas amputācijas. Even in its most neutral meanings, the term “colonial” leads to questioning the cultural and ideological purpose of its use. This also concerns its derivatives, post-colonial and neo-colonial, whose prefixes are not to be interpreted in a merely chronological sense. This paper investigates the remote origins of a mental attitude that has resulted both in a “colonial” reading of some phenomena and in a post-colonial new interpretation. El dolor agudo postoperatorio es una causa importante de morbilidad perioperatoria. La pregabalina (PGB), análogo del GABA, interacciona con sub-unidades de los canales de calcio α-2-δ, produciendo una reducción en la liberación de neurotransmisores y una disminución de la hiperexcitabilidad neuronal. En los últimos años se han realizado estudios que demuestran las propiedades analgésicas de la pregabalina administrada en el pre y postoperatorio durante las primeras 24 h de distintos procedimientos quirúrgicos. Mūsdienās angļu valodas skolotāji pamatskolā Latvijā ir norūpējušies par to, kā interaktīvā veidā attīstīt skolēnu valodas prasmes: klausīšanos, runāšanu, lasīšanu, rakstīšanu, bet tas arī rada bažas skolotāju vidū, ka šīs interaktīvās un skolēnu iesaistošās stundas varētu kļūt tikai par izklaidējošu nodarbi. Diplomdarba mērķis bija pārbaudīt vai kooperatīvās mācīšanās paņēmieni pāru darbam ir efektīvs veids kā sekmēt skolēnu mijdarbību angļu valodas stundās sākumskolā. [EN] Advanced oxidation processes driven by renewable energy sources are gaining attention in degrading organic pollutants in waste waters in an efficient and sustainable way. The present work is focused on a study of TiO2 nanotubes as photocatalysts for photoelectrocatalytic (PEC) degradation of acetaminophen (AMP) at different pH (3, 7, and 9).
