AbstractThe influence of organic and inorganic compounds of tin on the dynamic properties of liposome membranes obtained in the process of dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine (DPPC) sonication in distilled water was investigated. This was carried out by means of the spin ESR probe method. The probes were selected in such a way as to penetrate different areas of the membrane (a TEMPO probe, 5-DOXYL stearic acid, 16-DOXYL stearic acid). Pot-Economy Autooxidative Condensation of 2-Aryl-2-lithio-1,3-dithianes

The autoxidative condensation of 2-aryl-2-lithio-1,3-dithianes is here reported. Treatment of 2-aryl-1,3-dithianes with n-BuLi in the absence of any electrophile leads to condensation of three molecules of 1,3-dithianes and formation of highly functionalized α-thioether ketones orthothioesters in 51-89% yields upon air exposure. The method was further expanded to benzaldehyde dithioacetals, affording corresponding orthothioesters and α-thioether ketones in 48-97% yields. Copper(II) and platinum(II) complexes of 2-benzoylpyrrole (2-BZPH) were synthesized and characterized with IR, 1 H and 1 3 C NMR spectroscopies and coordination geometry with ligands arranged in transoid fashion. The crystal structure of [Cu I I (2-BZP) 2 ] was determined by X-ray diffraction. Death of complex treated Jurkat cells was measured by flow cytometry. The bis-chelate complexes [Cu I I (2-BZP) 2 ] and [Pt I I (2-BZP) 2 ] adopt square-planar coordination geometry with ligands, arranged in transoid fashion. AbstractTwenty-two n-butyltin(IV) and t-butyltin(IV) complexes of ligands containing an –OH (–C@O) group or –OH and –COOHgroups and an aromatic {N} donor atom were prepared by metathetical reactions. On the basis of the FT-IR and Mo¨ssbauer spec-troscopic data, molecular structures were assigned to these compounds. The binding sites of the ligands were identified by means ofFT-IR spectroscopic measurements, and it was found that in most cases the organotin(IV) moiety reacts with the phenolic form ofthese ligands. Evaluation of taste compounds in water-soluble extract of goat cheeses

Abstract The water-soluble fractions of two goat cheeses — one denomination of origin commercial trade mark (crottin de Chavignol®) and one bought in a local cheese making establishment (Bouton de culotte®) — containing many taste and flavour molecules were studied. Ultrafiltration with a 1000 Da threshold membrane, followed by gel filtration on Toyopearl HW-40S gel using water as eluent, led to the production of edible fractions. Physicochemical and sensory analysis of these fractions showed that the most tasty fractions contained, essentially, the free amino acids and mineral salts. Physico-chemical study of the radiopharmaceuticals 99mTc-DMSA, 99mTc-EDTA and 99mTc-DTPA interaction with plasmatic proteins.

This report studies the binding rate of the radiopharmaceuticals 99mTc-DTPA, 99mTc-EDTA and 99mTc-DMSA to plasmatic proteins. The proteins bind to the tested radiopharmaceuticals in the following sequence: 99mTc-DTPA less than 99mTc-DMSA(C1) less than 99mTc-EDTA less than 99mTc-DMSA(C2) where C1 and C2 represent two different Tc-DMSA complexes. The thermodynamic study suggests a quantitative relationship of radiopharmaceutical:protein = 1:1 and an almost nonexistent influence of the temperature, which means that the interacting forces in this process are relatively weak.
