La factura de la más antigua, encontrada en la ermita de San Julián (en el Museode Burgos desde principios del siglo XX) se debió de redactar a mediados del siglo XII, en sintonía con el monasterio burgalés de San Pedro de Arlanza, pues resalta la preeminencia de este centro en su vínculo con Fernán González. Apocryphal Passions of the Apostles in Croatian Glagolitic Texts

In the course of the Middle Ages, apocryphal and hagiographic texts of The Acts of the Apostles of various origins became part of the Croatian Glagolitic literature. The Passion of Saint Andrew, for example, is documented in the sanctorale of nineteen Croatian Glagolitic breviaries dating from the period between the 14th and mid-16th centuries. The Glagolitic Passion is an abbreviated translation of the Latin Epistula presbyterorum et diaconorum Achaiae (BHL 428) from the 6th century. Aims & methods: The aim of this study was to characterize the methylation level of a polymorphically imprinted gene, VTRNA2-1/nc886, in human populations and somatic tissues.48 datasets, consisting of more than 30 tissues and >30,000 individuals, were used. Results: nc886 methylation status is associated with twin status and ethnic background, but the variation between populations is limited. Monozygotic twin pairs present concordant methylation, whereas similar to 30% of dizygotic twin pairs present discordant methylation in the nc886 locus. Some Comparative Reflections on the Right to Know One’s Origins

The issue focuses on a family law topic, the right to know one’s origins, to examine it in some different cases, as adoption or assisted reproduction, in relation to the right to a private life, to show how “roots and space” can shape the different amplitude of individual rights in different legal systems. Despite the national and international recognition of this fundamental right, important disparities remain in the enforcement of it between international regimes and the national implementations of these regimes, as consequence of the gradual adaptation process of the right to know origins to fit the context of national legal frameworks with diverse local, political and social cultures.

In the ?barri del mercat?, in the city of Valencia and very close to its Lonja, there is a building complex which is the object of this study. The research, carried out from the simple field of toponymy, to the constructive analysis, lead us to suppose that it is the building of the Valencian trade union of cloth-shearers. It can be seen how the building now camouflaged by other subsequent interventions, corresponds to a type that cannot be related to those usually built in the city of Valencia. Its origins clearly from the Valencian self-governing period splendor, its dimensions and the finishes used in its construction seem to refer to a medieval workshop. A structure of great importance …
