Heat shock proteins (HSPs) induce cross-presentation of antigens by dendritic cells (DC) as well as DC maturation. These properties make HSP antigen complexes good candidates to prime CD8 T cell responses against tumor-associated antigens. In this study, we analyzed four different members of the HSP70 family fused to a fragment of ovalbumin (OVA) as a model tumor antigen. E. coli-derived recombinant HSP70-OVA fusion proteins efficiently primed antigen-specific cytotoxic T cells in short-term in vivo immunization assays. DNA methyltransferases (DNMTs) and 5-methyl-CpG-binding domain proteins (MBDs) are involved in the acquisition of parent-specific epigenetic modifications in human male and female germ cells. Reverse Northern blot analyses demonstrated sex-specific differences in mRNA expression for the maintenance DNMT1 and the de novo DNMT3A in developing testis and ovary. In fetal testis DNMT1 and DNMT3A expression peaked in mitotically arrested spermatogonia around 21 weeks gestation. In fetal ovary transcriptional upregulation of DNMT1 and DNMT3A occurred during a very brief period at 16 weeks gestation, when the oocytes proceeded through meiotic prophase. We evaluated DNA repair following exposure to direct mutagens (4-nitroquinoline-N-oxide (4-NQO), methyl methanesulfonate (MMS)), to mutagens requiring metabolic activation (benzo[a]pyrene (B[a]P), 2-acetylaminofluorene (2-AAF), N-dimethylnitrosoamine (NDMA)) or to structurally related non-mutagens such as pyrene and 4-acetylaminofluorene (4-AAF). An expanding range of genetic syndromes are characterized by genome-wide disruptions in DNA methylation profiles referred to as episignatures. Episignatures are distinct, highly sensitive and specific biomarkers that have recently been applied in clinical diagnosis of genetic syndromes. Episignatures are contained within the broader disorder-specific genome-wide DNA methylation changes which can share significant overlap amongst different conditions. Visual sensors deliver much information, even if data are redundant, and do not give any additional information. Maģistra darba mērķis ir veikt iegultā intelekta risinājumu izpēti un eksperimentāla risinājumaimplementēšanu heterogenā iegultā sistēmā objektu detektēšanai attēlos.Darbā teorētiski ir aprakstīti heterogēnu iegulto iekārtu un konvolūciju neironu tīklu dar-bības pamatprincipi. Tāpat darbā tiek apskatīti daži populārākie konvolūciju neironu tīkli, kasparedzēti objektu detektēšanai attēlos. Tiek skaidrota to uzbūve un novērtēšanas metodes. Darbapraktiskajā daļā tiek aprakstīta divu dažādu konvolūciju neironu tīklu apmācīšana un uzstādīšanauz heterogēnas iegultās iekārtas, no kuriem viens ir paredzēts attēlu klasificēšanai, bet otrsobjektu detektēšanai attēlos.
