The temple of the Magna Mater in the Old Forum of Lepcis Magna, as testi€ed by IRT 300, was built during the reign of Vespasian in 73 AD. Discovered by Renato Bartoccini in 1925, it remained unpublished. A recent research carried out in 2007 led to a new detailed survey of the monument while the study is still ongoing. In this article, in addition to the analysis of the remains of the sanctuary, a reconstructive hypothesis of the temple podium and of the entrance steps is proposed, on the basis of the in situ remains and the architectural elements scattered in the area. National audience; Lamicronutrition a pris ses marques en ophtalmologie principalement dans la dégénérescence maculaire liée à l'âge (DMLA), mais aussi dans les maladies de la surface oculaire. Pour les glaucomes, le stade actuel est plutôt celui de la réflexion qui permet de construire un rationnel à partir des hypothèses physiopathogéniques des glaucomes. Dans ce court article, nous évoquerons ces hypothèses et nous citerons les études animales et chez l'homme qui existent déjà, en insistant sur le rôle des lipides et des acides gras essentiels.

The Association between a MAOB Variable Number Tandem Repeat Polymorphism and Cocaine and Opiate Addictions in Polyconsumers

Genetic analysis of the association between alcohol, cocaine, and opiate addiction and variable number tandem repeat (VNTR) polymorphisms in monoamine oxidase B (MAOB) and serotonergic 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin) receptor 1B and 2C (HTR1B 21 and HTR2C) pathway genes was performed in a sample of 302 polyconsumers. Our genetic association analysis revealed a significant association between a 184 base pair (bp) VNTR polymorphism in the MAOB gene and addiction to cocaine and opiates. This work highlights new genetic marker associations in cocaine and opiate polyconsumer addictions.
