This paper aims to analyze the characteristics of the project for the residential complex "Patrizia" in Pavia by Alvar Aalto (1966-1968). Although not realized, for political and economic reasons, the project offers an interesting example of urban planning in an “organic key”. In particular, this paper aims to contextualize the project of Aalto in the broader context of the residential building in Italy after World War II, when the problems of reconstruction and "home" are the heart of the debate on architecture. The sixth principle of the Charte de la Ligue Internationale de l’Education Nouvelle of 1921 emphasizes the concept of coeducation. The definition of this concept provides interesting insights to launch a proactive debate on the need to increase the male presence in primary school teaching staff. First of all, some results of empir- ical research that support the request to increase the number of male teachers in the primary school are displayed. Secondly, the most significant measures adopted by some States to promote the figure of the male primary school teacher are described. Finally, a few proposals are made on what could be done in Italy.
Synthesis and study of new fluorescent probes for optical imaging, Cherenkov imaging and multimodal imaging

The goal of this work was to prepare and study new fluorescent probes, which could give rise to novel optical or Cherenkov imaging agents. The first section of this work describes the synthesis of fluorescent subphthalocyanines and phthalocyanines probes, which possess relevant chemicals groups suitable for optical imaging applications. The optical and physico-chemical properties of the new probes were carefully examined to ensure they comply with the specification of the fluorophores for the desired application. Lo studio ha per oggetto l'assetto della prova penale nei processi di criminalità organizzata alla luce delle numerose deroghe ai principi di acquisizione della prova. In particolare viene focalizzata l'attenzione sulle deroghe al principio di immediatezza con l'estensione dei casi di incidente probatorio e della c.d. circolazione probatoria, sebbene con i temperamenti susseguenti alla legge attuativa sul giusto processo. L'approccio è di tipo critico in quanto la fisionomia disegnata in origine e poi modificata rimane ancora oggi sfigurata rispetto alle linee tracciate dal 'codice Vassalli'.

To quantitate the secretion of complement component C3 by guinea pig peritoneal macrophages an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was developed. C3 secretion was studied in resident, elicited and activated macrophages and compared with release of hemolytically active C2 and C4, as well as the lysosomal enzyme β-D-2-acetamido-2-deoxyglucosidase. Resident macrophages secreted about 6 ng C3/106 cells/h into culture supernatants over a period of 12 h. Corynebacterium parvum-activated cells were found to secrete 3 times that amount at nearly constant rates.
