Šī kvalifikācijas darba ietvaros tika veikta apsardzes darbinieku izglītojošās lietotnes projektējuma un lietotnes izstrāde. Dotās lietotnes mērķis ir sniegt cilvēkiem, kuri vēlas iegūt apsardzes darbinieka kvalifikāciju, ērtu, pieejamu un atraktīvu izglītojošu saturu, lai būtu pēc iespējas vienkāršāk apgūt apsardzes darbinieka amatu. Dotās lietotnes galvenās funkcijas: lietotāja datu glabāšana, informācijas sniegšana par apsardzes darbību Latvijas Republikā, gatavošanās apsardzes darbinieka testa kārtošanai, izmēģinājuma testa kārtošana, sekošana personīgajam progresam, pieteikšanās apsardzes darbinieku kursiem, pieteikšanās testa kārtošanai.

Publisher Summary This chapter reviews human surrogate models of neuropathic pain that focus on the mechanisms of symptom generation. A vast array of human surrogate models exists for ongoing symptoms, for positive sensory symptoms, and for sensory loss. The chapter discusses that by design, human surrogate models of neuropathic pain involve a reversible modulation of the properties of the nociceptive system such as its acute plasticity (phase 2). They usually do not create a long-lasting and potentially irreversible modification (phase 3). Abstract Among family businesses (FBs) internationalization has become a strategy for growth, and sometimes even for survival. This review article presents an analysis conducted on 25 refereed journal articles on FB internationalization. The articles typically portrayed the internationalization of FBs as a sequential process following the Uppsala model of internationalization; by contrast, some FBs were regarded as “born-again” global firms. Aim of this study was to investigate relationships between the red palm weevil (RPW) Rhynchophorus ferrugineus (Olivier) and the entomopathogenic nematode Steinernema carpocapsae (EPN); particularly, the work was focused on the immune response of the insect host in naive larvae and after infection with the EPN. Two main immunological processes have been addressed: the activity and modulation of host prophenoloxidase-phenoloxidase (proPO) system, involved in melanization of not-self and hemocytes recognition processes responsible for not-self encapsulation. The purpose of this study was 2-fold: 1) to determine the relationship between dose-volume parameters of the Dominant Intraprostatic Lesion (DIL) when compared to the prostate and early biochemical outcome after PPI; 2) to define if dose-volume parameters of the central gland (CG), the peripheral zone (PZ) and the DIL could best predict PSA bounce occurrence. Entry in a Psychically Distant Market: Finnish Small and Medium-sized Software Firms in Japan

This paper investigates the market entry and entry mode choice of eight small and medium-sized Finnish software firms in the Japanese market. The findings in this study reveal that, despite of the psychic distance between Finland and Japan, most of the firms entered Japan at a very early stage of their internationalization process by using direct entry modes. This was mainly due to the market size, sophisticated industry structure, and requirements for intensive cooperation with the customers during the sales process. As part of an ongoing project for the investigation of the Algerian-Tunisian flora, six names of species of Caprifoliaceae subfam. Dipsacaceae, endemic to central and western North Africa, described in the 19th and 20th Centuries under the genus Scabiosa, are here lectotypified. They are: Scabiosa camelorum Cosson & Durieu, Scabiosa cartenniana Pons & Quézel, Scabiosa daucoides Desf., Scabiosa farinosa Cosson, Scabiosa parielii Maire, and Scabiosa robertii Barratte. Taxonomic notes, distributisson and new unpublished data about plant phenology of these taxa are given.
