Artykuł prezentuje wyniki analizy telewizyjnego orędzia prezydenta Francji Emmanuela Macrona z dnia 16 marca 2020 roku. Stanowi ono przyczynek do wskazania na znaczenie we współczesnym dyskursie politycznym odwoływania się do logiki strachu i poczucia zagrożenia. The current approach to “aging well” emphasizes the importance of active leisure participation in late adulthood. This relates to the view that leisure activities enable older adults to stay physically, mentally, and socially active, and they thereby contribute to wellbeing. In spring 2020, leisure activity engagement was significantly hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study explores leisure-related experiences and adaptation strategies among Finnish older adults during the period of strict physical distancing. This paper illustrates a geographical and multidisciplinary research titled "My lived space" and conducted in Italy, during the lockdown period due to the pandemic of Covid-19. The research aimed at using geospatial platforms to collect and map discursive, visual and oral testimonies, stories and narratives of individuals. It means, exploring the various testimonies of people related to quarantine, physical distancing, resistances and experiences, and practices that occur in the daily spaces of their homes and in local communities.

Abstract Purpose Social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic reduced possibilities for activities of choice potentially threatening quality of life (QoL). We defined QoL resilience as maintaining high quality of life and studied whether walking speed, absence of loneliness, living arrangement, and stress-coping ability predict QoL resilience among older people. The COVID-19 crisis has disrupted when, where, and how employees work. Drawing on a sample of 5452 Finnish employees, this study explores the factors associated with employees’ abrupt adjustment to remote work. La sospensione delle attività universitarie in presenza ha portato gli atenei a dover ripensare le modalità di svolgimento dei tirocini, nel rispetto della cornice normativa della regione di appartenenza.
