This study examined adolescent and maternal factors of the quality of maternal homework involvement and the extent to which the factors predicted adolescents' subsequent achievement through adolescents' and mothers' perceptions of the quality of maternal homework involvement. The sample consisted of 847 Finnish adolescents and their 662 mothers who both rated the quality of homework involvement (i.e., autonomy support and psychological control) in the fall of Grade 6. This Work in Progress Paper studies student and exercise modelling based on pass/fail log data gathered from an introductory programming course. Contemporary education capitalizes on the communications technology and remote study. This can create distance between the teacher and students and the resulting lack of awareness of the difficulties students encounter can lead to low student satisfaction, dropout and poor grades. In many cases, various technological solutions are used to collect individual exercise submissions, but there are little resources for indexing or modelling the exercises in depth. This study examined three aspects of maternal homework involvement (i.e., the quantity, quality, and source of initiative) and their direct and indirect associations with adolescents’ task-avoidant behavior in homework situations and academic achievement. Pētījuma mērķis bija atklāt saistības starp indivīda identitātes stiliem un laika perspektīvas dimensijām, respektīvi, orientāciju uz nākotni un negatīvu pagātni. Tika aptaujāti pavisam 84 respondenti vecumā no 18 – 29 gadiem (M = 22,39; SD = 2,60). Pētījums ir neeksperimentāls (korelatīvi aprakstošs). The graphic realization of the past participle agreement is considered as one of the main difficulties of the French orthography which is characterized by its extreme opacity.
