Force-velocity profiling in athletes: Reliability and agreement across methods

The aim of the study was to examine the test-retest reliability and agreement across methods for assessing individual force-velocity (FV) profiles of the lower limbs in athletes. Using a multicenter approach, 27 male athletes completed all measurements for the main analysis, with up to 82 male and female athletes on some measurements. The athletes were tested twice before and twice after a 2- to 6-month period of regular training and sport participation. The double testing sessions were separated by ~1 week. Deep Learning Models Performance For NDVI Time Series Prediction: A Case Study On North West Tunisia

The main goal of this paper is to analyze the performance of two deep learning models Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and bidirectional LSTM (BiLSTM) network for non-stationary Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) time-series prediction. Both methods have provided good performances in the different time series. The BiLSTM has shown the best agreement with the lowest root mean square error (RMSE) and the highest Pearson correlation coefficient (R) of 0.034 and 0.93, respectively.

Camera-based measurement of relative image contrast in projection displays

International audience; This research investigated the measured contrast of projection displays based on pictures taken by un-calibrated digital cameras under typical viewing conditions. A high-end radiometer was employed as a reference to the physical response of projection luminance. Checkerboard, gray scale and color complex test images with a range of the projector's brightness and contrast settings were projected. Abstract The research aims to determine the financial performance of the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange from the manufacturing sector in Romania, compared with the performance recorded by the Bucharest Stock Exchange, based on the exchange rates. It was concluded that the financial performance of the companies included in the research, quantified on the basis of the exchange rates, decreased significantly with the arrival of the financial and economic crisis, currently, the companies being unable to reach the level of performance recorded before the crisis.
