[EN] Radioprotection with natural products may be relevant to the mitigation of ionizing radiation-induced damage in mammalian systems; in this sense, propolis extracts have shown effects such as antioxidant, antitumoral, anti-inflammatory, and immunostimulant. We report for the first time a cytogenetic study to evaluate the radioprotective effect, in vitro, of propolis against radiation-induced chromosomal damage. Lymphocytes were cultured with increasing concentrations of ethanol extract of propolis (EEP), including 20, 40, 120, 250, 500, 750, 1000, and 2000 ¿g mL-1 and then exposed to 2 Gy ¿-rays. International audience; France Telecom (FT), SFR and Bouygues Telecom (BT) have been fined by France's Conseil de la Concurrence (CC) for organizing a mobile phone cartel with stable market shares (one-half, one-third and one-sixth, respectively) and for directly exchanging commercial information. While not contesting the legal decision, it is argued here that the economic reasoning is flawed. (1) As the CC made much of the firms' stable market shares, we have first followed this line of reasoning by considering that the market shares are quotas under uniform costs. Figure of Sylleptic persona is mentioned, which allows to comprehend “I” as empirical and lyrical at the same time. Those considerations are being complemented with analysis of self-referential traces in Jacek Podsiadło’s poetry.

Tekst Zawiszy Czarnego zachował się w postaci różnorodnej zbieraniny, w której spotykają się rozwiązania wzajemnie sprzeczne oraz nakładają się na siebie alternatywne opracowania, tylko dlatego, że Słowacki ostatecznie nie napisał dramatu, to jest: nie doprowadził go do postaci skończonej, która uzyskałaby autorską pieczątkę, najlepiej w postaci autoryzowanego wydania. Agis Spartańczyk (Agis the Spartan), classified in catalogues, bibliographies, and digital libraries, as an original play by Ksawery Godebski, proves to be a copy of Agezylausz Agesilaus), a late play by Juliusz Słowacki, which remained unpublished during the poet’s lifetime. The copy is not even made with Godebski’s hand, and bears no marks proving that it has been in fact written by him. It is, however, apparent, that it has been based on Słowacki’s own manuscript, as it copies its layout, which has been subject to modification in subsequent editions. During the Second World War, he was a political advisor and grey eminence to the head of the Polish government, General Władysław Sikorski, and after the war he remained in exile. He was very active in promoting European unity. He founded the politically influential Bilderberg Group. He was suspected of being a British intelligence agent. He was also accused of working for the secret services of several other states, and of being a freemason. The liberalisation of the communist system in the mid-1950s, disillusionment with the policy of the West, fears connected with West German revisionism, and dwindling chances of change in the situation of Central and Eastern Europe contributed to diverse attitudes among Polish emigrants.
