The demographic and epidemiological transitions resulted in a pressing need to reformulate the health workforce demand and to revise pre- and post-graduate training to prepare the medical profiles to meet the new health needs focused on chronic diseases. The Italian Junior Doctors Association and the Giotto Movement carried out a web survey to identify the motivational aspects and the level of satisfaction of Italian junior doctors regarding knowledge and skills acquired after attending the General Practitioners’ specific training (GP-ST). Nurse practice – clinical learning environment and student satisfaction
 The purpose of this study was to investigate nursing students’ satisfaction with the clinical learning environment during clinical practice. A questionnaire was distributed to nursing students at a university (N=250) in Norway. Student satisfaction, task orientation, pedagogical atmosphere, supervisory relationship, and the premises of nursing on the ward were measured. Of the 250 students invited, 163 (66 %) completed the survey. Nursing competence in municipal in-patient acute care in Norway: a cross-sectional study

Abstract Background The primary health care services are becoming increasingly complex, which presents challenges for the municipal nursing services. In Norway, municipal in-patient acute care (MipAC) has been introduced in all municipalities, and the competence at the services has been questioned. Few studies have examined the nursing services in the units. The ECHR Condemns Prison Overcrowding in Italy: The Total Reorganization of the Institution and the Social Reintegration of the Prisoner

The contribution analyses the current Italian prison system, which has been called upon on to resolve its structural problems. The Council of Europe, in fact, in 2013 condemned Italy for inhuman treatment in its prisons. The principal accusation concerns the problem of overcrowding. The country has responded with solutions such as the application of the open system, which provides cells solely for overnight stays, and dynamic monitoring, an effective system for ensuring order in the institutions. Este articulo presenta una investigacion sobre la identificacion con los principales clubes de futbol en la sociedad espanola e incluye un analisis de los dos principales componentes de la cultura futbolistica de sus aficionados, esto es, la vinculacion y el compromiso personal con el club. What are the most appropriate ways to activate changes in educational services in order to optimally answer to their institutional mandate in a complex society? This paper answers this question by adopting a organizational perspective that covers interconnected and coordinated learning processes, with all the actors of the educational system (pupils, teachers, parents, managers, administrative staff...) and, in a meta-level, of the system itself. After an excursus on the theories of the organization, useful information for making choices and conscious operational design in a systemic and ecological perspective are given.
