AbstractThe paper reports authors’ experience of implementing educational projects in a computer modelling course offered to the students majoring in “Secondary Education (Computer Science)” at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University. ABSTRACT For Friedrich Hölderlin, the mediatory role of aesthetics was central to overcoming the challenges of modern life, in particular human beings’ antagonistic relationship to nature. This article claims that Hölderlin preserves and improves what is true in Kant’s conception of the beautiful: that the experience of beauty concerns recognizing our dependence on nature, and that this recognition resonates in the works of artistic geniality as well. The article takes Zachary Baqué's study of Los Angeles in the films of David Lynch as a starting point to explore David Lynch's Hollywood movies. The author contends that the films offer more than a satirical representation of a corrupt, unhealthy system which threatens dreams and artistic creativity, or a parodic play on Hollywood genre and narrative conventions. This article aims at exploring the Homeric gods’ sensitivity to a particular kind of indig- nation that is expressed in the Homeric po- ems by the term nemesis and by the verbal forms arising from it. My purpose is to an- alyse the passages that allow us to establish the causes of divine nemesis towards the mortals and the gods themselves, as well as their effects. This survey also represents an opportunity for investigating the relation between the attribution of emotions to the Greek gods and the anthropomorphic repre- sentation of the divine.

ABSTRACT Dendritic cells play a central role in the immune control of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) infection. This work aimed at investigating the impact of noninfectious, subviral dense bodies of HCMV on the maturation and activation of dendritic cells (DC). Treatment of immature DC with dense bodies led to the maturation of these cells and significantly increased their capacity for cytokine release and antigen presentation. Dense body-activated DC may thereby contribute to the development of antiviral immunity.

Cytomegaloviruses are strictly host-species-specific. During an aeon of co-evolution, virus and host have found an arrangement: the productive and cytopathogenic cycle of viral gene expression is held in check by the host's immune response.
