Which are the communication styles of anti-tobacco spots that most impress adolescents?

Abstract Objectives To evaluate emotions and opinions of Italian adolescents aged 13-18 years old about different anti-tobacco spots delivered by the mass media campaigns over the world. Methods A multicenter cross-sectional study was conducted. Italian students from different regions were enrolled. A video that collected 7 anti-tobacco spots from all over the world. The spots describe the tobacco dependence, the health damages and the tobacco components using different communication styles (funny, scientific, dramatic, comedians, shocking, and sad). Historically, petroleum fuels have been the dominant fuel used for land transport. However, the growing need for sustainable national economics has urged us to incorporate more economical and ecological alternative vehicle fuels. The advantages and disadvantages of them complicate the decision-making process and compel us to develop adequate mathematical methods. Alternative fuel (compressed natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and ethanol fuel mixtures), the standard prices and their ratios were investigated. Fraud is a cause of substantial costs for firms. Fraud disclosure by the press would hence improve firms’ rates of return. I study to what extent the French press acts as a watchdog-type mechanism of governance and what the determinants of this mechanism are. To address these issues, I investigate the efficacy of the French press in detecting fraud committed by firms before an official verdict by the courts. I observe that the French press can play an important role as a watchdog, but this role de- pends on its search for maximizing profits. Thus, the press selects the firms and the frauds on which it publishes articles.

El presente artículo analiza las prácticas pedagógicas de la Educación Física de un contexto específico para describir cómo promueven el aprendizaje del tiempo. A partir de una etnografía se obtienen las actividades propuestas por el profesorado de Educación Física de una escuela de Meliana, en Valencia (España). Se recogen 82 tareas motrices que son analizadas y contextualizadas en el marco educativo. Los resultados, a la luz de las ciencias de la educación, muestran una tendencia a realizar tareas sin memoria de resultado en las que no existe un final marcado por las reglas y, en menor tiempo, actividades con memoria en las que los participantes se clasifican en función del desenlace. Aunque existen tratamientos eficaces para el TLP, se ha prestado menos atencion a los familiares. El objetivo de este trabajo fue adaptar para familiares el entrenamiento grupal en habilidades de la terapia dialectica comportamental, en 14 sesiones. La muestra estuvo formada por 12 familiares: 50% madres, 41,7% padres y 8,3% parejas.
