Diplomdarbs „Priekšstatu veidošana par laiku pirmsskolas izglītības 3. posmā” ir izstrādāts, lai noskaidrotu, kā izveidot 3. posma bērniem priekšstatu par laiku pirmsskolā. Tutkielmassa tarkastelen prosessin kehittämistä lainsäädäntöprosessin ja julkisen hallinnon tietotekniikan (IT:n) uudistamisen näkökulmista. Tutkielmassa yhdistyvät toimintaprosessien kehittämisen ja sähköisen julkisen hallinnon tieteellisen tutkimisen näkökulmat. Tarkastelen lainsäädäntöprosessin kehittämistä osana julkisen hallinnon arkkitehtuurikehyksen mukaista toiminta-arkkitehtuuria. Tutkielma on kirjallisuuskatsaus lainsäädäntöprosessin ja sen tietojärjestelmätuen kehittämiseen liittyvään tietojärjestelmätieteen tutkimukseen. International audience; The temperature and emissivity separation (TES) algorithm is used to retrieve the land surface emissivity (LSE) and land surface temperature (LST) values from multispectral thermal infrared sensors. In this paper, we analyze the performance of this methodology over urban areas, which are characterized by a large number of different surface materials, a variability in the lowest layer of the atmospheric profiles, and a 3-D structure. Fast prototyping of parallel image processing applications using functional skeletons

We present SKiPPER, a software dedicated to the fast prototyping of vision algorithms on MIMD/DM platforms. This software is based upon the concept of algorithmic skeletons, i.e. higher order program constructs encapsulating recurring forms of parallel computations and hiding their low-level implementation details. Examples of such skeletons in low- to mid-level image processing include such as geometric decompositions, data or task farming. Maternal parenting styles, homework help, and children’s literacy development in language minority and Finnish-speaking families

The aim of this study was to examine the role of mothers’ (language minority mothers, LM, n = 49, and Finnish-speaking mothers, MP, n = 368) parenting styles and maternal help with their children’s homework in the children’s (mean age 11.43 years) literacy skills at fourth grade in Finland. In addition, the moderating effect of a child’s gender on this relationship was investigated. The results showed that the LM mothers used psychological control more than MP mothers. Furthermore, the more LM mothers used warmth and psychological styles of parenting, the more they helped their daughters, not sons, with homework. Lasītprasmes attīstīšana matemātikas mācību procesā

Bakalaura darbā „Lаsītprаsmes аttīstīšаna mаtemātikas mācību procesā” tiek aprakstīta skolēnu lаsītprasme, metodes stratēģijas lasītprasmes attīstīšanai un piedāvāti uzdevumi un ieteikumi lаsītprasmes аttīstīšanai mаtemātikas stundās. Ar mērķi - pilnveidot skolēnu lаsītprasmes matemātikas mācību procesā, tika izstrādāts skolotāju atbalsta materiāls. Darbs sastāv no 3 nodaļām: 1. nodaļā tiek aprakstīta lasīšanas prasme, 2. nodaļā matemātikas mācību procesā nepieciešamās lasītprasmes, 3. nodaļā tiek piedāvāti uzdevumi lasītprasmes attīstīšanai gan pamatskolas, gan vidusskolas skolēniem, matemātikas mācību procesā.

Pusaudžu lasītprasmes veicināšana matemātikas stundās

Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt pusaudžu lasītprasmes veicināšanas paņēmienus matemātikas stundās. Šī mērķa sasniegšanai tiek analizēta pedagoģiskā un psiholoģiskā literatūra, anketēti matemātikas skolotāji, veikts pedagoģiskais novērojums un izmēģinājuma darbība, kā arī izmantotas matemātiskās statistikas metodes. Pētījuma rezultātā novērota saistība starp skolēnu sekmēm matemātikā un lasītprasmi, kas tiek novērtēta kā vidēja. Lasītprasmes veicināšanas paņēmieni tiek izmantoti bieži, taču skolotāji izvēlas matemātikas mācību praksē vairāk pazīstamus paņēmienus. Pētījuma gaitā tika aprobēti lasītprasmes veicināšanas paņēmieni, ar ko skolotāji var papildināt savu izmantoto paņēmienu klāstu: Z-G-U…
