This study examines how practitioners of minority-medium Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) in Finland reflect on language awareness (LA) in their professional learning communities (PLCs). The study is conducted within in-service training for ECEC practitioners and it also highlights how these practitioner reflections can be of use and support developing future in-service training within the action research framework. The data include nine group discussions on a reflection task, with 41 primary participants and 165 secondary participants from each primary participant’s respective PLC. El objetivo de este trabajo ha sido conocer el pensamiento de los alumnos sobre la Educacion Fisica y sus profesores. Para ello, 788 estudiantes de Educacion Secundaria Obligatoria (337 alumnos y 451 alumnas) han respondido a un cuestionario abierto en el que se les preguntaba que es lo que mas y lo que menos les gusta de EF, como se imaginan a su profesor/a ideal de EF, y las tres caracteristicas mas importantes que deberia tener su profesor o profesora de EF. Currently, surgical training of physicians in Italy has limited possibilities.Surgical training can be performed on dissection of human bodies as well as in animal laboratories, but experience is very poor. We conducted a survey through an anonymous questionnaire in order to evaluate the opinions of post-graduate physicians on their need for experience training on both human and animal bodies during their medical studies. A total of 165 young Sicilian physicians responded to the survey. Only 14 of them (8.5%) declared they had specific training on a live animal, while 46 (27.9%) reported they already attended cadaver labs.
