The aim of this study is to present concrete descriptions of the content in the construction of helpful relationships with staff, according to users. Starting with the re-occurring concept of the meaning of "little things" in recovery studies, a literature review was done. A thematic analysis shows that small things play an important role in improving a person's sense of self. Small things seem to be an invisible but effective parts of a recovery-orientated practice, but they might be defined as unprofessional and their efficacy negated.

Cirrhosis is a major cause of morbidity and mortality and is the end stage of any chronic liver disease. Cancer, a leading cause of death worldwide, is a growing global health issue. There are limited data in the literature on the incidence, prevalence and management of non-hepatic cancers (NHC) in cirrhotic patients. The aim of this brief review was to underline the main concerns, pitfalls and warnings regarding practice for these patients. The purpose of this study was to explore professionals' orientation toward child assessment and planning. Semistructured questionnaire data and interview data were collected from child neurological units in Finland. Legislation in Finland does not specifically provide guidelines for family centeredness and comprehensiveness in early intervention, yet professionals have widely accepted these approaches in their work with children with disabilities and their families. In this chapter, we describe the processes and curricula of initial education of VET teachers and trainers, its features and requirements, describing the differences between formal VET teachers and non-formal vocational trainers. We introduce the initial education required to become formal VET teachers and non-formal vocational trainers in the past three decades in Spain, with particular attention to their technical and pedagogical background.
