This paper relates an experience carried out at a higher education setting, specifically involving 3rd-year students in the Early Childhood Education degree programme. In relation to this, the paper presents an educational model that takes into account the need to develop ethical and social competences and gives importance to interdisciplinary education in real contexts. One of the strategic and ambitious goals at the Lisbon Summit is to attain the best possible quality of teaching and learning processes. One of the key academic competencies generating knowledge for the current information society is the reading literacy. The main goal of our pre-research project is to carry out a pilot study on reading literacy of the first year students at Alexander Dubcek University of Trencin, to identify their reading literacy level, and their ability to comprehend and work effectively with academic texts, and last but not least to identify their reading literacy deficiencies. Teacher Training and Linguistic Diversity: Methodological and Outcome Analysis of an Online Course

This research aims to delve into sociolinguistic content in the context of teacher training itineraries at the Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain). Using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, the presence of sociolinguistic content will be justified. Likewise, we will analyze the contents and methodology of the subject based on the access data to the materials and the evaluation of the students. The results obtained refer both in terms of the importance of dealing with linguistic attitudes in class and of assessing the tool itself and some of the students' work habits, which we can extrapolate to others similar training environments, in order to extract good practices.

This article aims to describe and analyze the dilemmas facing teachers when fostering student motivation in project-based learning (PjBL). The authors developed a project in secondary education through an action research approach. The different action research cycles aimed to solve dilemmas throughout the project and interpret them in terms of student motivation through the self-determination theory.
