Cet article présente une analyse de la qualité de l’emploi des femmes de chambre dans divers pays d’Europe sous le double aspect des contraintes patronales de gestion de main-d’œuvre, et de la construction des trajectoires professionnelles des salariées. Vulnérables, peu qualifiées et peu valorisées, souvent d’origine étrangère, la plupart des femmes de chambre sont aisément fidélisées du fait de leur faible employabilité sur le marché du travail. The hotel industry rhythms appear as a hindrance to staff loyalty and female careers development. However, two hotel networks of the Accor group, Etap Hotel and Formule 1 stand out from this general pattern with a presence of female managers (38% of managers). This case incites to wonder about career ladders within these budget hotel chains. Are the assets and the obstacles combined in the same way for men and for women? Which views have the employees and managers about their jobs, their working conditions and their plans for the future ?

Abstract The UV–Vis spectra for a set of MPcs (Mmetal, Pc = phthalocyanine ligand), i.e.: In(III)PcI (1), Hf(IV)PcI2Pht (Pht = phthalonitrile) (2), Sn(II)Pc (3), Sn(IV)PcI2 (4), and Ge(IV)PcI2 (5) have been examined in two solvents, O-donative acetylacetone, and non-coordinative benzene. The UV–Vis spectra in Hacac solution of 1,2 and 4,5 shows that the axially ligated iodine atoms are replaced by (acac)− anions of the solvent, whereas in 3 the oxygen donors of the solvent causing the auto-oxidation of Sn(II) to Sn(IV) ions and as a result the Sn(II)Pc is transformed into the Sn(IV)Pc(acac)2. Since the early 1980s healthcare systems in the industrialized nations have been undergoing radical reform aimed at curbing overspending of hospital expenditure. After a discussion of the limits of a prospective payment due to heterogeneity of costs within DRGs, we demonstrate the ability of anovel statistical model to identify high cost patients. We derive from this statistical model an economic heuristic in order to account for high cost patients in budget allocation and a Structural and Contingent method is proposed as a budgeting tool. Specifying agency relationships between the different actors in ambulatory care - the patient, the physician, the insurance and public authorities - allows to render an account of the complexity and the specificity of the health system.
