The neural mechanisms underlying schizophrenic behavior are unknown and very difficult to investigate experimentally, although a few experimental and modeling studies suggested possible causes for some of the typical psychotic symptoms related to this disease. The brain region most involved in these processes seems to be the hippocampus, because of its critical role in establishing memories for objects or events in the context in which they occur. This paper describes a non-invasive, automatic, and robust method for calibrating a scalable RGB-D sensor network based on retroreflective ArUco markers and the iterative closest point (ICP) scheme. We demonstrate the system by calibrating a sensor network comprised of six sensor nodes positioned in a relatively large industrial robot cell with an approximate size of 10 m × 10 m × 4 m . Here, the automatic calibration achieved an average Euclidean error of 3 c m at distances up to 9.45 m . Smart city. Four approaches to the concept of understanding

The paper analyzes the rhetoric of the smart city (SC) concept in order to recognize, categorize, and describe different perspectives of understanding the notion. Four approaches to the SC concept were isolated: three affirmative, and one rejecting. The approaches present a different understanding of the SC and indicate different elements creating urban ‘smartness.’ Despite differences, there is one common goal in every affirmative approach: to improve the quality of urban life. It is achieved through activities covering five dimensions distinguished within affirmative approaches. Together they can serve, i.e.,as a framework for SC case study analyses.

The role of tactile information of the hand in the control of reaching to grasp movements was investigated. The kinematics of both reaching (or transport) and grasp components were studied in healthy subjects in two experimental conditions. In one condition (control condition) subjects were required to reach and grasp an object that could have two sizes and that could be located at two distances from the viewer. In the other condition (anaesthesia condition) the same movements were executed, but anaesthesia was provided to the subjects' fingertips.
