This study addresses a gap in the research on supply channel management by integrating environmental values and value creation in the context of buyer-supplier relationships. This study has two objectives: (i) to explore the environmental values structure of industrial customers, and (ii) to test the effect of environmental values on overall value perceptions. The effect of customer's environmental values on the supplier's environmental image and customer-perceived value is tested with structural equation modeling using the PLS method. Abstract The aim of this article was to evaluate the mean speed progression of the three major cycling stage races in order to empirically establish whether excellent in performance in professional cycling is to some extent correlated with the trend of blood doping and anti-doping throughout more than a century of official cycling competitions. We retrieved data about the mean speed of the winners of the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a Espana, since their beginning. The essay focuses on the damage caused by the loss of the parental relationship and, in particular, its consequences from a compensation point of view. Taking as its starting point a recent ruling of the Corte di Cassazione, the paper highlights how, in the Italian legal system, this type of damage has different, and significant, consequences for the injured party. In the second part of the essay, it will be seen how, in the English legal system, the so called damage for bereavement has only recently been introduced in the Fatal Accident Act 1976 and how its consequences differ considerably from what happens in the Italian legal system.
