Photoinduced Electron Transfer in a Porphyrin-Fullerene Dyad at a Liquid Interface

The excited-state properties of an amphiphilic porphyrin–fullerene dyad and of its porphyrin analogue adsorbed at the dodecane/water interface are investigated by using surface second-harmonic generation. Although the porphyrin is formally centrosymmetric, the second-harmonic spectra of both compounds are dominated by the intense Soret band of the porphyrin. Polarization-selective measurements and molecular dynamics simulations suggest an angle of about 45° between the donor–acceptor axis and the interfacial plane, with the porphyrin interacting mostly with the nonpolar phase. Moving to Finland two years ago had given new push to my work in many ways. I have been studying Hungarian educationfor about thirteen years and I have been addressing the general public with popularizing materials for nearly five years now. However, in Finland these activities become more complex than in my native country. ON SOME GENERALIZATION OF SMOOTHING PROBLEMS

The paper deals with the generalized smoothing problem in abstract Hilbert spaces. This generalized problem involves particular cases such as the interpolating problem, the smoothing problem with weights, the smoothing problem with obstacles, the problem on splines in convex sets and others. The theorem on the existence and characterization of a solution of the generalized problem is proved. It is shown how the theorem gives already known theorems in special cases as well as some new results.

La declaratoria di incostituzionalità di una parte della disciplina transitoria pone all''interprete la questione riguardante l''individuazione del momento iniziale della "pendenza" dell''appello. L''Autore, alla luce delle scelte giurisprudenziali adottate, suggerisce una soluzione conforme ai principi costituzionali e auspica una presa di posizione delle Sezioni unite in grado di evitare un trattamento differenziato tra gli imputati dei diversi processi in corso.

Inulin is considered a dietary fiber and represents a noteworthy ingredient for food biofortification due to its health effects and its neutral taste. The aim of the work was the evaluation of the quality of pasta produced using whole-meal flours of two ancient Sicilian landraces (Senatore Cappelli-CAP and Timilia—TIM) fortified with two types of inulin (long-chain topinambur inulin IT and low-chain chicory inulin IC), at two different levels of substitution (2 and 4%) to evaluate its possible effect on α-amylase inhibition. “Pamatlīdzekļu uzskaites apakšsistēma” ir lielākas informācijas sistēmas NIPIS (Nekustamo īpašumu pārvaldes informatīvā sistēma) sastāvdaļa, kas atbild par pamatlīdzekļu pārvaldi. Sistēma sastāv no divām daļām – pie NIPIS sistēmas piesaistītā daļa, kas atbild par pamatlīdzekļu pārvaldi, importu un izdruku, un neatkarīgā SETSUnits daļa, kas ir lietojama uz mobilajām ierīcēm, un nodrošina pamatlīdzekļu un piesaistīto bilžu pārvaldi un pamatlīdzekļu inventarizāciju, kamēr lietotājs neatrodas pie datora ar NIPIS sistēmu. Programmatūra ir izstrādāta programmēšanas valodā C#, izmantojot ASP.NET Web Forms un ASP.NET MVC ietvarus un Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 izstrādes vidi.

Life projektu datubāzē atrodamā informācija liecina, ka 13 projektu ietvaros tika atjaunoti zālāji Latvijā. Zālāju atjaunošanā tiek ieguldīti sabiedriskie līdzekļi, taču nav zināms, cik tas ir ilgtspējīgi, un, vai tie tiek uzturēti pēc projektu noslēguma. Bakalaura darbā skaidrots atjaunoto zālāju stāvoklis AAA „Ziemeļgauja” un DL „Sitas un Pededzes paliene”, izmantojot Dabas aizsardzības pārvaldē iegūtos datus, inventarizējot zālājus dabā, veicot intervijas ar teritoriju īpašniekiem. Noskaidrots, ka 2013. gadā 0,7% no atjaunotajiem zālājiem abās teritorijās netika pieteikti Lauku attīstības programmas finansējumam. Zālāju atjaunošanās abās teritorijās norit veiksmīgi.
