The Rorschach method for obesity assessment: clinical study on a group of obese women

SUMMARY. Aim. The purpose of this study is to explore through the Rorschach method the psychological and personological profile of the woman with obesity. Methods. The Rorschach test was administered to 10 women with body mass index of 41.86±9.9 kg/m2 at the clinic for obesity surgical treatment at the University Hospital “Paolo Giaccone” of Palermo. Results. The quantitative and qualitative analysis of the Rorschach responses detected in the study show: limited practical and creative sense in managing daily life situations, rigid control of emotions, affective turmoil, sense of inadequacy; sufficient examination of reality and adaptation social. Two centuries have passed since the palimpsest that transmits a Roman legal work known as the Vaticana fragmenta was rediscovered by Angelo Mai in the Vatican Apostolic Library in Rome. This paper reviews the main issues relating to this work and suggests some reasons why a new edition of the text is desirable. 1820 hat Angelo Mai in der Vatikanischen Apostolischen Bibliothek in Rom ein Palimpsest wiederentdeckt, welches ein römisches Rechtswerk – die so genannte Vaticana Fragmenta – überliefert. 200 Jahre sind seitdem genau vergangen. Dieser Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die wichtigsten Aspekte dieses Werks und zeigt Gründe auf, warum eine neue Ausgabe dieses Textes wünschenswert ist.

Das Buch befasst sich mit dem Zusammenspiel von kognitiven, emotionalen und motivationalen Faktoren beim Aufbau von mündlicher Kompetenz in Deutsch als Tertiärsprache bei erwachsenen Italienern. Es stützt sich dabei auf ein interdisziplinäres Vorgehen, das theoretisch erörtert und in seiner Methodenwahl ausführlich dargelegt wird, insbesondere die Videografie sowie intro-/retrospektive Verfahren. Die Ergebnisse der Studie veranschaulichen die Lernprozesse einmal klassenübergreifend, zum anderen erfolgt eine detaillierte Analyse der einzelnen Lernenden. Das Literaturverzeichnis liefert Lehrenden, Studierenden und Forschern eine erschöpfende bibliographische Quelle zu den behandelten Themen.

Diffusion of Drone Journalism: the Case of Finland, 2011-2020

This article details Finnish news organizations’ adoption of drones for journalistic purposes from 2011 to 2020. The theoretical starting point of the article is Rogers’ (1962) diffusion of innovations theory, which explains how new ideas and technologies spread in societies. The main empirical data for the study were derived from a phone survey conducted among the 80 most popular newspapers in Finland. The findings reveal that drone journalism in Finland has already diffused from a few pioneering organizations to a large number of newsrooms, including regional, mid-sized newspapers.
