Bakalaura darbs ir veltīts īpašvārdu, reāliju, metaforu un idiomu tulkošanas stratēģiju izpētei. Darba mērķis ir veikt komparatīvo, kvalitatīvo un kvantitatīvo analīzi korpusam, kas sastāv no četrām grupām – īpašvārdi, reālijas, metaforas un idiomas, franču-latviešu valodu kombinācijā, lai noskaidrotu, kuras stratēģijas ir vispiemērotākās to tulkošanai. Korpusa izveidei tika izmantotas divas grāmatas – Žila Verna grāmata « Astoņdesmit dienās apkārt zemeslodei » un tās tulkojums, ko veicis Andrejs Upīts. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no divām daļām. Various studies suggest that the mental illness prevalence in prison has increased from 0.14 to 0.3 from 1987 to 2014. The problem with a high concentration of mentally ill prisoners culminated when the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) was sued for the violation of inmates’ rights under the Eighth Amendment in the early 1990s. This article scrutinizes the conceptual history of international anarchy. The argument purported here is that even though the idea of international anarchy is often seen as very central for the academic discipline of international relations, the concept is in fact not found from the forerunners or classics of the discipline. This article reports on a qualitative investigation of Albanian students’ motives for preferring certain real-life situations to be used in school mathematics, and possible connections of these motives to characteristics and issues within Albanian society. It is based on realistic interviews with students from Grades 8 and 9 in a school in the district of Shkodra in northern Albania. Interviews were conducted after students experienced five teaching units which dealt with mathematics embedded in real-life situations. Tutkimuksen tehtävänä on selvittää, miten aktivointiprosessi vaikutti osallistujien hyvinvointiin pitkällä aikavälillä. Taustalla on ajatus siitä, että aktivointi kohentaa pitkäaikais-työttömän tilannetta parantamalla hänen elämänhallinnan taitojaan ja katkaisemalla apatian tilan, johon pitkittynyt työttömyys helposti johtaa. Työllistämistoimenpiteen kautta saadut taidot ja onnistumisen kokemukset voivat johtaa positiivisiin muutoksiin muillakin elämän osa-alueilla muodostaen parhaassa tapauksessa aktivoidun tilanteessa pitkäaikaisen hyvän kehän, josta on hyötyä myös yhteiskunnalle.
