Characters are important for the audience reception of films, but little empirical research on actual audiences has been conducted on the topic of character reception. Are characters important for all audiences, and if not, what are the possible reasons and implications? How do audiences construct their engagement with characters? Artykuł oscyluje wokół zagadnień związanych z recepcją dzieła Ricardy Huch w ujęciu współczesnej niemieckiej krytyki literackiej. W roku 2014 została upamiętniona 150. rocznica urodzin pisarki, doktora historii oraz filozofa konferencjami naukowymi, oficjalnymi uroczystościami oraz publikacjami naukowymi. W roku 2017 przypadła 70. rocznica śmierci pisarki. Również w 2018 roku podjęto inicjatywy wydawnicze upamiętniające Huch. Rodzi się zatem pytanie odnośnie współczesnej poczytności oraz znaczenia tematycznie zróżnicowanego oraz gatunkowo różnorodnego dzieła Ricardy Huch.

Il aborde le rôle du format dans la création, développant une réflexion sur ses usages en art, en poésie, dans le théâtre, dans le domaine du livre, des périodiques et de productions telles que les carnets d’artistes. Il met en exergue la dimension expérimentale des variations de format dans les processus de création artistique et les stratégies éditoriales ou de conservation, ainsi que les pratiques hybrides (texte / image) et les transferts intermédiaux.

Ethical dilemmas as professional challenge : case study on management in reception centers in Finland

This study examined what kinds of ethical dilemmas managers working in reception centers in Finland have encountered as well as what kinds of strategies they applied in ethically challenging situations, and finally, what ethical dimensions the strategies included. This specific topic has not been investigated before, thus, this study aimed to theoretically and empirically examine it. Theoretical framework bases on Geva’s (2006) typology of ethical dilemmas, Jones’ (1991) issue- contingent model of moral intensity, and Rahim & Bonoma’s (1979) model of the styles of handling interpersonal conflict. Optimization of the Speech Test Material in a Group of Hearing Impaired Subjects: A Feasibility Study for Multilingual Digit Triplet Test Development

Background: The development of the global digit-in-noise test requires optimization of each language version on a group of normal-hearing native-speakers. An alternative solution may be an adaptive optimization during ongoing tests in a group of subjects with unknown hearing impairments. The objective of the research was to compare the optimization results between these groups.
